Transformers Pictures Discussion Thread

After seeing the Shia-Leno clip, the Silverman-MTV Award clip, and some pictures, the lips look pretty good and appear to convey a good amount of emotion.

I think the problem was that Optimus Prime's facial look has been so secretive since the beginning, with the originally released pic of his eyes covered up, then the catfish-lipped sideview shot. It's good to see it all in motion, cuz it doesn't look too bad.

Im not sure what part of the movie its from, i would assume it may be from the fight on Hoover Dam. I may be wrong, im looking at what is behind OP

looks like that observatory that we see the 3 comets flying over. Also has been shown with BB posing in vehicle mode.

I think its funny how some of the same arguments are coming up with Transformers like they did with Superman Returns....like, teh symbol is too small, and dont forget.....teh colors are not the same.

At least Supe's costume didn't get a flame pattern.

...Although he still kinda looks a lil too much like Michael Bay.

that was one of the terms Hasbro had to agree with, Prime had to be designed in the likeness of Bay

There is a little bitta similarity.

I look at both of them and I wanna say, Why such the long face, funny man?

It's probably because of the length of the nose and the position of the lips. I didn't want to say it, but I see it too. But not so much in this new image.

i wonder if everyone would still be complaining if optimus would have had lips back in 1983. Just curious, but what if everything that everyone hates about this was a part of the original cartoon. Would they have hated it back then too?

i admit that Prime kinda looked like Bay in the shot of him kneeling down in front of Sam and Mikaela but that's the only shot of his whole face where i thought he looked like Bay.

Wow. Didn't notice that either. Good one.

I find it hard to believe that these glasses survive the whole movie. But ya know what the old fogies say: "They just don't make em like they used to.....weeeehaww eeeeeeeuuuuuhhhhhhhhh fnart flurp."

LOL yeah true. I think when Prime picks them up he should accidently break them...LOL....while it would be funny though...it wouldn't be a Prime thing to do.
