first, is this prime?

if it is him, then look at my evidences above. that looks just too close to each other at some point.

And one more thing. that is the first trailer, and that is the very end several seconds of the first trailer, very special moment. I think having prime there makes some senses.

the protoform coming out of the pool is ironhide, dude. like Tempest, i have read both the script and the novelization and in both it confirms that this is ironhide.

Did anyone even remotely consider that this might be a decepticon? He has red eyes and red glow overall. Usually that's a sign of his side. If it is an Autobot, it could be Prime, but it could possibly be Jazz or Ratchet as those are the only ones we haven't really seen. Look at the MTV montage, Jazz seems rather shaped like that, and his right arm looks like it has 3 claws...

I did too, and it largely looks like Prime.

The main thing that puts this in favor of being Ironhide are the arm cannons.

He seems to be right with the size if you compare him to the shot in the trailer when he is standing infront of Sam/Spike.

that's a prop that was built for a scene where he is lying down.

take a camaro, cut it in half...use one of those halves to make legs and that's about how tall it'd be...
