There is probably a property in the UK that already has a claim on the title "Dead Men Tell no Tails". That happened with Marvel's Avengers in the UK and Ireland. Marvel couldn't use that as the title because another property in the UK and Ireland had rights to the title "Avengers" so Marvel renamed the film "Marvel's Avengers Assemble" in the UK and Ireland.

Looks like the series is getting back to the epic form that the fourth one abandoned. But I could only understand one or two words that Salazar said. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put that black Penguine sludge in his mouth needs to be smacked.

"Jack Sparrow. Do you know this pirate?"

"Find Sparrow for me and relay a message from Capitán Salazar. And tell him, 'Death comes straight for him.' Will you say that to him? Please?

Elizabeth is the main character of the first film and the first trilogy. The writer's said it and it is framed around her (the series opens and closes on her). Which is the exact problem with the sequels. The studio continually trying to push drunk Han Solo as the main character. Hence the diminishing returns.

Oh please. This is Pirates of the Caribbean, not Young Lovers of the Caribbean. Unlike Will and Elizabeth, Jack Sparrow is a pirate. He's the main star of the series. In Dead Man's Chest and At World's End Will and Elizabeth were just a sideshow.

He kinda reminds me of the ancient vampire in Dracula Untold.

Looks visualy stunning like the first 3 films and to have the right tone. Realy hoping this doesn't suck. Not sure this franchise can survive another bad film.

I don't get the hate for the 4th one. It lacked a proper villain, but I felt like it was still an enjoyable ride.

I don't understand it either. The zombies were disappointing, and we didn't see any naval battle (if we don't count Jack's mutiny) but I enjoyed the film very much.

You're right. Davy Jones and his men could move through solid objects just like Salazar and his ghosts.

That was a really good teaser. Very, very epic . Bardem looks great too. Definitely looks better than 4 which I thought was a total bore.
