"A super hero tale which follows billionaire weapons-manufacturer, Tony Stark, who confronts the sins of his past after he is injured by one of his own weapons. Equipped with a high-tech suit of armor, he becomes Iron Man to combat evil on a global scale."

From FilmTracker.com

Sounds really good. Love the bit about "global scale."

Agreed.
Whether it's official or not,it still sounds good enough to me - simple, yet poignant & effective :hyper:
Although the Iron Man comics started off being more political than most comics, the global scale quote does sort of (to me anyway) indicate that he may be working in line with the government to protect the world.
I could be looking too deep into it,but that's just my thoughts on it :oldrazz:

Sounds very general there. Nothing that anyone who's a fan of the comics don't already know

Iron Man has always faced global scale threats. Bat and Spidey work on a local/city basis.

Not just because he's one of my favs but I know without a doubt the "Global Scale" is going to make FF2 around the world scenes look like poop on a stick. :)

heh yeah that's true.

I'll be honest, I NEVER read Ironman as a kid, it's always been a mixture of Spidey, Batman, and x-men. After reading some of the Marvel :Civil War comics, It takes you back and forth, bobbing and weaving between Captain America and Ironman, but I must say.. The artistic work and the attitude of Tony Stark just wants me too see this movie more and more.

That's about as much of a plot sypnosis for Iron Man as this is for Spidey:

A genetically mutated masked man in tights web-slings through New York patrolling the city.
