Plot Thought Wrong

Both the chosen title of this thread and the reason for making it are complete enigmas to me.

don't forget that the movies also have to catch the attention of the original viewers. They've grown up, so they can handle these things, and besides, you wouldn't believe the kind of stuff kids watch these days, but you could be right.

What are you talking about? There are many ways to subdue sandman. Sandman doesn't have to die you know. Sandman is one of spidey's oldest villains, do you honestly think throughout his entire run in comics that he's gotten away every time? :huh: I dont think so.
You said it yourself, think of the comics. Venom biting sandman, although it happened in the comics, "killing him" was shi--y writing and would be a debacle if it were to be realised on film. Not everything in comics is pure golden scripture you know :o

It doesn't matter what kids watch nowadays, you're not going to have Peter Parker lashing out and causing the death of his aunt. That's ridiculous.

The Script Summary was from January of 06 and the Q&A was from Febuary of 06. I suppose its possible they have tweaked the ending, but they were both written while the movie was filming. Also, the pic of Sandman's wife and daughter watching him at battle royale is enough confirmation for me that the script summary was right about Sandman coming out alive.

And the battle royale at the end can't be one of them? They're not going to say "We weren't pleased with the way it ended so we're going to reshoot it."

I seriously don't know why what they said could contradict them changing the ending up as far as deaths go. I'm also not saying that it is definate.

Sorry, it sounds a little far fetched to me for them to change the plot point that Venom dies during the reshoots. Especially since Raimi doesn't like the character of Venom.
 
I thought there were many threads about this same topic...but whatever.

And dude trying to convince people that the Q&A and script summary are false is futile, so don't even try.
 
They Re-shot because Raimi wasn't satisfied with how the film originally ended.

thats still possible though. I'm just saying that there is alot of proof that these things are true. I mean sam could have created an alt ending for brock like having brock go to prison though brock will probably die because he has to pay for his sins like the other villians did:yay:.
 
I don't agree with the idea of Sandman getting bitten. Can't a villain live for once?

Which is why I want Sandman to live, because Raimi said that he was on a quest for redemption. I just don't want him to up and quit without getting more of a closure of his character by the end of the movie.

which is why I think that if they tweaked the story it would only be one or two scenes. I mean the Q&A and the script summary are defenitley the most reliable source around right now. they were also right about peter and harry fighting early in the film. now I'm not going to jump to conclusions to wheather or not the story has been tweaked ecause in fact it could be but for right now it is probably a low chance though I could be wrong.
