Ok guys, for those of you saying he only has 4 fingers on his right hand...

The art was done by taking an existing had and arm...deleting all of the inside just leaving the outline.
Then they filled it in with his texture and webing and stuff.
The pinky on his right hand just got blended in to his finger for the concept art. (didn't have to be perfect)

Wow , im more excited about the Harry costume that looked awesome, everyone has said Venom looks very much like the comics so im not worried about how he looks,, but im dying to actually SEE IT though...

ya i hope harry looks like that, comared to the like 5 frames we saw in the teaser it was like just black costume, maybe it wasnt finished, like in the first movie teaser they edited the car chase with peter in wrestler outfit into the spidey outfit

Not really. I was only comparing it based on what the final piece looked like compared to the concept work.

A LOT was lost in the translation of Juggernaut from the concept to the screen.

Just saying that the same could happen here.

well, to be fair, with X3, they were limited to time (looks at how rushed JUGGS AND BEAST LOOKED)while Spider-Man 3 has all the prep time in the world..so I doubt that Venom would be downplayed by the final design. I could be wrong..

it is obvious that this was done in a 3d software. and since sony is using maya they obviously used maya. noone can make this with photoshop. this is a 3d model with extreme detailed 3d texture. just look at the shadows and lightining.

why the heck isn't Harry wearing some sort of helmet. Doesn't make sense that if this glider technology were made by the military, they wouldn't include a helmet. He's flying around on a glider and they don't want to protect his head???

yeah but I thought the Juggs concept art sucked anyway. Its much harder IMO to make a comic book Juggs then a comic book Venom
