Power Rangers 3.0

[Ultra Lantern]

I thought up another premise for a pirate-based Power Ranger series, tell me what ya think:

I was thinking about the series taking place throughout various points in time, space and realities within the Power Ranger universe.

A group of alien mercenaries have been sent on a mission by an unknown villain to find the "Towers of Time." The Towers of Time is a place that exists at the center of all time and reality. Through using it's technology, the mercenaries travel to various, key points in time throughout the universe. Their mission: to wipe out the Power Ranger Legacy!

The intrusion on the Towers of Time set off an automatic response. The Power Galleon's(The Ranger's Ship) sentient computer is activated and immediately searches throughout history on Earth for five daring, pure-hearted and courageous teenagers to become the Power Rangers Buccaneer.

They become Power Rangers and use the ship to sail across time, space and reality to find and stop the mercenaries from destroying history!

Basically I saw a series that would have time-travel, space and alternate reality stories:

*Each Ranger would be from a different country and period in time.

*The ship's computer would be their teacher and mentor. It would have an energy form which it would use to move among the Rangers.

*Most of the mercenaries would be new characters but a couple would be villains from the Power Rangers past (like Scorpina, who would have survived Zordon's blast, still evil and a b****)

*I would love to see cameos and guest appearances from past Rangers

* With past Sentai appearing in the series, which wasn't featured in Power Rangers, some of them will be Rangers from alternate realities and other planets that the Buccaneer Rangers will meet

*The unknown main villain behind the mercenaries would carry over into the next PR series and it would be......Zordon!

He would have to be in the shadows and have a different voice.Then in the next PR series,he'll be in human form and explain how he survived.

That sort of sucks now that I have found out about the Mega suits. So far, the figures released I bought only come in the Mega form, so that kind of sucks. Really hoping for regualr versions now. I am going to start watching Shikenger soon.

There is show accurate figures being released. Not alot of articulation btw.

I'm waiting for the Shinkenred figuart which will be released in February. Already got it preordered.

I'm not going to buy any **** toys Bandai USA makes.

I just don't get why they can't make figures like the Classics style chase figures which were pretty decent.

I'll hold out for the originals with the better articulation. I have the box set like that for the MMPR figures and they stopped painting them halfway, like the fronts are painted but the backs are all yellow, or all red, etc. So i can hope they release them in the original forms in the more articulated line. They have to keep it afloat with something after all.

Yeah...i see his identity not being revealed until the end of the series. I've often played with the idea of Zordon now being a person whose fed up with the fight between good and evil. His endgame would be the destruction of good and evil creating a neutral universe.

I think since the Mega suits were created by Saban exclusively for PR Samurai, they want to promote them over the regular suits from Shinkengers. But the Mega suits are just so friggin' ugly that I won't spend any money to buy them, that's for sure.

If they could somehow figure out to make like a premium collector line for the Figuarts toys here, I would buy them! Even if they were priced at say $15.99, I would still buy them because that's at least better than buying them imported.

I mean back in the day, Irwin and Jakks released some of the fancy DBZ toys that were released in Japan.

Interesting. Cool. Is this the Figuarts version of Mega Man X? And have they made Zero and X in his full on X armor as well? I want Hadoken mode X.

Yeah this is new branch of figures that fall under the "D-Art" label

Figuarts- Sentai and Kamen Rider

D-Arts- Medabots, Digimon, Rockman.

Rockman X is the first from the Rockman series. If interest soars than more figures will be produced.

It's still weird for me to see the Shinkenger helmet been worn by American actors in PR Samurai, mainly because the helmet has kanji as part of its design, so it feels more natural to have its wearer understood the language it came from.

Jayden was raised by Ji and the samurai since he was a child, so he likely understands the Kanji.

Alright! I'm glad my favorite sentai series has been chosen by TV Asahi as the #1 series in the Hesei Era. However, why is Go-onger coming at #5? I think Gekiranger and even Abaranger should rank higher than Go-onger imo.

My meager translation of the blurb:

The evil empire who almost ruled the universe. With the 34 Super Sentai gone, they have set their aims on Earth.

Episode one's story translated

In order to find the legendary "The Greatest Treasure in the whole universe" Captain Marvelous travels through the universe together with his crew.
One day Captain Marvelous encounters the Space Country, Zangyaku's armada. Even though they are at a disadvantage, Captain Marvelous decides to attack them. Eventually Captain Marvelous and his crew arrives at earth trying to get a meal, but Zangyaku shows up and attacks them.
There they start fighting like pirates should fight. Thus making enemies with the Space Country, Zangyaku.
