SPD was one of the best for me too. This is Power Rangers: Super Megaforce (the second half of PR: Megaforce). It involves a storyline that includes many (all?) the Rangers of years past coming together to defeat some overwhelming force. Can someone help me out here?

I'd actually like this to be the last season and then have them reboot this whole thing in the distant future. I know it's unlikely to happen, but with the superhero craze going on right now, it would be the perfect time to do it.

If Saban weren't so cheap and made the show a little bit more serious, the show could probably become really popular again.

And Saban really could've/should've made that cave like the Zeo chamber with the actual suits instead of cheap as hell figurines.

The show is popular Primal Slayer. And Power Rangers has never been that serious. It is a children's show remember. Also the figurines are basically the same thing used in the Japanese sentai version.

I know we all have fond memories and nostalgia of the original seasons, but those were far from serious and there were still incredibly goofy stories.

Those figurines play a VERY important part in the season and aren't just cheap set dressing.

Those figurines are Ranger Keys and, later on when the Rangers access new powers, they'll allow the Rangers to use the abilities of all of the past teams.

It is? So I guess it is bringing in good ratings? Children show doesn't mean it has to be goofy as hell. LoK is a children's show. And I know the original wasnt that serious and had goofy stories but they found a very good balance.

One thing that I've really disliked with the progression of Power Rangers is the Megazords, they've gradually gotten more chunky, overly designed and IMO ugly, how about a sleeker looking Megazord?

Megazords are just walking cluster*ucks now and their battles aren't even brutal anymore. I know they're trying to sell toys but there is no reason each ranger needs more than one zord. I remember Operation Overdrive being a particularly bad offender.

Who do PR fans seem to dislike Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue so much? I thought it was one of the better PR series.

Same here, didn't know it was so disliked. Now Time Force on the other hand? Ugh :

It seemed the casting agents picked the most blandest and worst actors in LA and put them in the Lightspeed cast

The only shining star was Keith Robinson as Joel.

Sean CW Johnson, alison macinnis and Sasha Williams were all cardboard when it came to "acting"

Dude not every show can be like Legend of Korra. Power Rangers has never been as dark or serious as Korra.

I haven't seen many of the ratings for Megaforce, but I recall Samurai pulling in significant millions of viewers.

I'm not saying it should be. Just saying just because it is a kids show doesn't mean it has to really goofy. If they kept the amount of seriousness we got in half mmpr-lg I would be a happy camper.

I would love it if Power Rangers was less goofy and characters could actually die and things like that. But that's just not the Power Rangers man. That's not the direction Saban wants to go in.

Didn't really dislike Lightspeed Rescue but Really Time Force was Awesome if anything Wild Force was one of the worst seasons of Power Rangers.
