So anyone here seen any of Hikonin (Unofficial) Sentai Akibaranger? Its made by Toei but not part of the official sentai canon, and is aimed at older fans and otaku. First season is 12 episodes + a final wrap up episode, the second season has the same amount. All the episodes are subbed over on DailyMotion, if anyone is interested.

Ninjastorm I thought IMO was fresh and the changes disney made weren't so extreme yet

I could tolerate the ninja stars from hurricanger turning into "laser shoots"

From Dinothunder onward it was just getting terrible. Disney's censorship was bringing the series down with

"LASERS!!"

"OH YEEEEAAHHHH!!!"

Not to mention the giant Bruce Kalish explosions.

That is a good looking box art Cover. If only it had SPD in it since that was the last tolerable series for me. Tried to watch the others after but couldn't get into them.

Now if only Saban would go back to multiple seasons with the same characters and building up to a CD2D type story. Wouldn't mind if they rebooted it then. And of course made it semi serious and more Original footage instead of becoming increasingly cheaper.

Not to Keen on the 3rd Box Set either but I really liked SPD and RPM.

I liked Dino Thunder, mostly for Tommy, but I thought it was an ok Disney season. I've been watching RPM as well, and sure there are lasers and explosions, it actually feels like something is at stake. It isn't just "Lets attack random coastal city because the Rangers live there, and not somewhere else in the world where they couldn't possibly get to in time to stop my plan." Plus, people actually die and are referenced getting hurt and such, something other Ranger series failed to do, and it makes it feel like humanity is lost if the Rangers lose. No good blue head or mystical woman can just show up and turn everything around. Literally everyone will die if they fail. RPM is a pretty decent season.

I thought RPM was tolerable. Wasn't as good as SPD though.

Yep, September 7th. Unfortunately the Legend War is, I think the last episode of MF, leading into Super Megaforce, so you've still got a while to wait.

Also, rewatching MMPR, someone on another forum pointed this out to me. Take a second, and you'll see what is wrong with this picture:

Yep, I've seen most of Zyuranger, so I know what the context is, I just found it funny its still in there and I never noticed it. Kind of how they stll had new Zyuranger footage for Season 2, but switched to the Dairanger mecha, so if you look closely, some of the damge reaction shots are of the original Megazord while they are supposed to be piloting the Thunder Megazord.
