Better start saving up your pennies because Shout is releasing a 7 season set. MMPR-LG all together. Wasnt expecting them to do that, now that is a complete series.

Since they are doing an entire originals era on DVD. One would think they would also do the other shows in one big set no ? I am curious as to what the cover for the big set would look like

Well I can't really see any other eras happening. Cause from lg-rpm each show was its own thing. With just minium connection to past. If anything. Any combine sets I would see is more of a pairing deal. Like mmpr season 1 with dt, ns/jf set, and stuff like that.

I wonder how the other seasons are going to be released then ? Are they going to wait for the single volumes to finish up to Lost Galaxy ? Which would royally suck. Or go on ahead ?

Man if only they had gone up to timeforce. In terms of season quality it couldn't get any better than that for the Saban era.

Wildforce was mediocre IMO

Only other season i'd get is Ninja storm. It was such a breath of fresh air(New Zealand !)

After that I lost interest in Power Rangers. Only watched Dino Thunder for Tommy's return. I stopped taping episodes too.

Then I discovered Sentai and never looked back

I would think since we know they are first with mmpr volume deal. Will do single sets(full/volume releases) for seasons one through 7 first. Then from there either go in order or do mix and match sets like drop a lightspeed-wf set with a disney set.

As for how the volume set is going for season one. If we are to get ten episodes per disc. Season one as we can see will be handled in two volumes(3 discs each). So with that the most we probably see other sets be is 5 discs for season 2, and then 3-4 discs for season 3-17. If that the case. I can see full sets for rest of series and come out on a 20$ range price and be reasonable sets/price to buy

No since after LG it is all not connected to each other like those first 7 were. Better off doing it individually.

That's awesome, but why no love for Lightspeed??? I'm guessing it will be released on a later date.

Later date and I guess lg got int there with space teamup. Where I would have just gone to in space. Since that was the true end of zordon era. The rest I am sure will just be single sets coming out spring/summer next yr(or sooner counting on how much time between sets) will be. Then like I said earlier if any other big sets would probably just be bundle/combo packs. With full seasons from simular themed seasons. Like turbo with rpm, tf/spd, ns/jf, etc.... pairing off deals.

As for netflix deal I believe its been said saban brand has contract with them through 2014. Though for all we know they could reup on deal when contract is near its original end date. It has been doing well I believe on netflix. So I am sure saban would stay with them for awhile.

Awesome. I've been wrapped up in other stuff, so I didn't start rewatching Power Rangers until recently. I'm almost finished with MMPR season 1. I stopped watching Power Rangers during Lost Galaxy, so there are tons of seasons that I've never seen.

A lot of people tend to think of LG as being the aftermath of the Zordon era since it still dealt with the aftermath, we still had Bulk, and Karone joined the team connecting them to the Zordon era.

Ya I guess that is probably why lg got included. Can't wait to see box art, and full info on that set. Along with more details on the single sets for mmp. Heck I still thought they would have done big set just of mmpr first. Then get through in space, and do the big zordon ers. But going with the big set is probably more bang for the buck, and for us hardcore older fans. With the single sets for newer/younger fans. I just hope the big set isn't to huge of a price.

Antman glad I can help you out. Since it been on netflix I been doing different marathon runs ns/dt/lost galaxy to name a few. Currently in middle of a compare to zyuranger marathon of season 1.

I thought they would just do MMPR 1-3 then every season individual or just collect Zeo-Space into a set.

Totally like I said I thought it would be mmpr full set, then single sets of turbo-space. Then another full zordon set. Then again single sets for rest of seasons. I doubt they do a 17 series set that be way to huge of a thing. After this big set, I still think we just get combo packs for simular themed seasons. Which makes sense theme/money wise. Compare simular seasons together that folks most likely would like together.

Thanks for the link, Webhead I'm working my way through MMPR on Netflix right now (1/2 through season 3). Haven't seen them since they originally aired, but man the nostalgic love is coming back. These are definitely going to have to be a purchase.

Also, got to fulfill a childhood dream of meeting Bulk and Skull in March.

Ya for me if price is good, and I have the money I am getting this big set, then for me I plan to get tf, ns, dt. I liked the other series. But zordon era, and the ones I said are ones I care for most. But then on other hand I am temped a bit to go for full set. I hate not having full sets of things. But since end of zordon era that isn't much of a issue.

Thats teh good thing about each of them being individual series now so dont have to worry about it being completed. Only bad thing is not having the team up episodes of those seasons but LSR had a horrible team up but WF had FR which I already have on dvd anyway and the timeforce team up..which is sad to not have but I can get watch it online if need be.
