PR Movie , what do you think ?

After watching transformers and seeing how successful it has become, i kno to some of you this might sound crazy but what about a new power rangers movie? Use the same characters Jason ,Zack , Billy Ect. but update it. Make the villans MORE Evil , try and use the orgial voice of zordan , update the suits and zords , and have an all new Young cast. I personally think if they do everything the right way it can work beacause I knew people who werent transformers fans loved the movie. and i know power rangers cannot be compared to transformers , but power rangers were a part of my childhood and to see that on screen would be great what do you think ?

I'm sure you're already aware of the theatrical PR film that was released in the mid 90s, along with its sequel.

That said, I couldn't see a new PR film unless it was the same cast as the show. They were the Rangers.

But what they could do is a completely revamped origin film, and bring in darker themes and loads more of character development as these five teenagers learn how to work together as a team for the first time.

After the third film, people thought the same thing about the Ninja Turtles.

Nothing ever dies...It just takes the right creative team to take it back to glory.

Even in their glory Power Rangers were never at the quality of the turtles. As much as I loved the power Rangers as a kid I dont think they deserve a reamergence in pop culture. Theye played their part in my childhood/adolesence and now its time we moved on.

For a second I thought this was about the sequel to epic movie...Public Relations movie...a spoof of various marketing campaigns, gimmick films, and trailers. All I could think was "dear God...why?"

I don't think I have ever seen that Amy Jo Johnson movie. I did however see her in a movie once called Suzie Q, Amy Jo Johnson plays a really hot ghost. She dies in a car with her boyfriend while on her way to the prom. I wish Disney would release it on dvd.

Yeah thats what i meant , but i think a new cast would be good if your revamped origin besides the original yellow ranger Trini was played by actress Thuy Trang passed away a couple of years ago and i think it would look weird if the orginal cast was there except one.

but if i had to cast the new rangers it would be ..

Jason ( Red Ranger) - Jay Hernandez

Zack ( Black Ranger ) - Lee Thompson Young

Billy (Blue Ranger ) - Aaron Ashmore

Kimberly ( Pink Ranger ) - Megan Fox

Trini ( Yellow Ranger ) - Nathalie Kelley

The only person i can think of to play Tommy ( The Green Ranger ) is

Tom Welling ??
