I dont know why a live action series was done in the first place,its already common sence that some of the shows in the 90`s that were successfull then..would do squat now.

Yep the guy who wrote the movie created the Pete and Pete show. They started writing the movie as a Pete and Pete movie. But most likely chaged it because the actors got to old, didn't want to come back, or just for the fact kids would most likely have no idea who pete and pete are. Or its paramounts fault. Dumb Paramount how dare you cancell Pete and pete season 3.

Im really surprised a Captain Planet movie hasn't been annoucned yet. With comic book movies doing so well box office wise and people thinking about golbal warming. That Ted Turner doesn't start up this movie. But Ted Turner is crazy so he'll never make a CP movie.

The only TV shows that are likely to recieve the big screen treatment are:

Xena: Warrior Princess (and perhaps Hercules as well)

That would be so cool. But only with Lawless and Sorbo.

Btw, does anyone remember a animated show about magician and his sidekick. It was like Batman and Robin, but they were magicians... It was set in futuristic world. Can't remember the name of the show anymore. It aired around 1997-99 or something like that.

I'd say Reboot and Gargoyles would be cool! Hell no to Power Rangers. Plus, sorry, they already made a movie, I think two actually.

Oh yeah, to make Power Rangers epic..............it wouldn't be Power Rangers anymore. Not even close, the best it's every going to get for that cheese is the movie they already made. Those kind of shows were meant to be cheesy, don't try to make a movie "based" on it that's "cool". That misses the point, and is what I would call false advertising.

Since I am probably the biggest Phantom fan here, I'd love to see this.
The toon was critically acclaimed, and in the right hands, it can be done.



...either that or a reboot/sequel of The Phantom.

does any one remember, a show called "the maxx" it barely lasted a season, in the mid 90s. but, it would make one hell-a-crazy movie LOL

Nightman, though, the show it self was kinda weak, had some cool concepts, and could probably make a decent movie, once tweaked around with a bite

YESSSS the maxx ownd. i would love to see that redone. along with gargolyes, mighty max, dexters lab, STREET SHARKS!!!, sonic the hedgehog (maybe), Darkwing duck, earthworm jim, ainmorphs, freakazoid... there are sooo many awesome things that could be remade!
