The Dark Knight Predictions on how TDK will end

Two-Face shoots Maroni in the knee. We see him walking up to the crying and cursing Maroni and he says: the name is Face, Two-Face. He flips the coin, smiles and the screen cuts to black!

Original :o:woot:

But I had a few real ideas over the last few months:

1) We see the newly constructed Wayne Manor, and in the sky: the signal
2) Bruce receives a letter which begins with "riddle me this..."
3) Or we only see the envelope with a huge question mark on it...
4) We learn that Ra's isn't dead...
5) We see Two-Face real clear now, flipping his coin in the sewers and smiling at us...

:cwink:

Oh and pm please if you know the true ending of TDK!

I'm betting that by the end Gordon will be needing the use of a walking stick, Rachel will have left Gotham having given up hope completely, The Joker will have bleached himself whilst in Arkham and Two-Face will still be at large. There will be no overt refrences to the next villain but rather subtle hints. Expect a big cameo.

I dont think they will make a reference to what villian will be in the next movie(except Two-face).

I'd love to see The Joker visit Arkham. But maybe not. We'll see.

Another naive, poor attempt at screen writing by a fanboy follows. Not a good ending, but I had fun writing it.

Batman and Joker face each other through a clear plexiglas wall [think Long Halloween] in Arkham . . .

Joker (angry, spitting): You’ll never win! The anarchy . . . the chaos! Gotham will still burn!

Batman (the slightest of smiles creasing his face): Joker, why so serious?

Joker (smashing into the Plexiglas, beating on it with his fist): I”LL KILL YOU! I”LL KILL YOU! I’LL KILL YOU ALL!!

Batman turns and walks away, down the long corridor, the Joker screaming . . . .

Dr. Quinlan: Batman!

Dr. Quinlan appears, grabbing Batman’s arm.

Dr. Quinlan: What did you do? What did you say to him?

Batman: Nothing he hasn’t said before.

Dr. Quinlan: You’re no better than he is. You should be in Arkham, too.

Batman: And do you think you could help me, Doctor? Do you think you can help him?

Dr. Quinlan: I’m going to try!

Batman: And I’ll be waiting.

FADE

Gordon stands by the new Batsignal, the light blazing. He is looking out toward the city. Suddenly a voice behind him . . .

Batman: Any word on Dent?

Gordon, slightly startled, turns to face Batman who crouched on the edge of the roof.

Gordon (slightly irritated): No, nothing. I hope we don’t find him. I hope he’s at peace.

Batman observes Gordon, no emotion showing. Then, indicating the Batsignal . . .

Batman: New?

Gordon (looking down, somewhat apprehensive): Look, I’m sorry. I thought that . . . .

Batman: You have nothing to explain. I would have done the same.

Gordon: There are going to be more of them. More Jokers. We’ll never get rid of them. But we need to fight them. We need your help.

Batman: I’m not going anywhere. Not yet.

Batman stands and steps off the roof, disappearing into the night.

Gordon smiles, turns and walks away

Daytime, Wayne Manor. Construction equipment and workers are working on the new mansion. Bruce arrives and Alfred opens his car door.

Bruce: Alfred.

Alfred: Master Wayne. [Alfred gazes across the new Wayne Manor]. Almost finished, sir.

Bruce: It will be good to be home, Alfred. I wish Rachel could have seen it.

Alfred: Master Bruce . . . Perhaps she knows, sir. They all know.

Bruce looks up at the mansion.

Bruce: How about the modifications to the southeast foundation?

Alfred: Splendid, Sir! You’ll nevah know the place once you see it.

Bruce: Good.

Alfred: By the way, sir, this envelope arrived for you. [Alfred hands Bruce an envelope] It arrived this morning, special delivery.

Bruce opens the envelope and takes out a paper. Both men read the paper. The paper reads:

HOW DID THE BAT LEARN TO FLY?

Alfred: But what does it mean?

Bruce: It means they endure, Alfred. But so do I . . . so do I.

BLACKOUT

Directed by Christopher Nolan
A nice way to intro the Riddler, but the Joker dialogue is weak.

the idea of Selina Kyle-Catwoman appearing on part 3 gives me heartburn.
Not digging that @ all.

Then take some Pepto Bismol!

QFT.

I want Two Face and then some villians that have never been on film before. We've already had Catwoman twice, now Joker and Two Face twice. I'm ready to mix it up.

So? First time was just ok, second was crap. We should get a Catwoman that is great, one that is worthy of the comics!

Nolan's using The Joker, Two Face, and he will probably use Catwoman because he's re-inventing Batman mythos, and I think Catwoman is far more important in Batman mythos than Talia or Lady Shiva, nothing against those tho

I would think Nolan would bring in Catwoman simply because there's only one main female character right now and rumours point to her not surviving the film. We'll need a female character in the third film for balance, so Catwoman would make sense.

Exactly

I want it to end the way I wrote it in my signature LoL.

Seriously tho, I would love to see Joker get away scott free, no arkham, no jail, no death, no mob repercussions. Just 100% free.

I know I already posted one but whatever

Bruce is having breakfast, he's holding Rachel's photo

Alfred: I'm so sorry sir

Bruce: You don't have to Alfred

Alfred: I think sir, that just feeling regret and remorse for miss Dawes death won't take you anywhere

Bruce: I know... Alfred

Alfred: A ladie called yesterday sir, she was looking for you

Bruce: What was her name?

Alfred: Selina Kyle

back in '07 (early summer- when I was a lurker) this was the hot rumor around. Both MirandaFox and Anjow said that they had sources which said the film ended with Bruce leaving for a date with "Selina Kyle"... it was never debunked... it was never confirmed.... and is no more than a rumor.

honestly do we really want to speculate on the ending when thoughts of this matter may spoil it for us?

I believe they had originally planned on The Joker living through the movie, and just being captured. Seeing as how Heath has died, I'd imagine The Joker will as well. Just not sure how.

I think it will end in chaos and be left open. Most of the city will be in ruins, the entire city has turned against the hero they once respected. Harvey Dent will be assumed dead, Joker will either be killed, left for dead, or sent to a holding facility until Arkham is rebuilt. Batman will feel that he has failed his city, Wayne Enterprise will be almost going bankrupt and Rachel will be dead. This is exactly what I want.
