Sequels Probably The Best Superhero Movie Concept Ever

This is so good that I'm surprised nobody's ever suggested it before. So, I'm going to do it now just so that it's finally said. It seems to me that the two most talked about characters in the upcoming Wolverine movie (possibly even more than Wolverine himself) are Gambit and Deadpool.

So, why not, after the Wolverine movie, make a team-up movie starring Gambit and Deadpool? It just screams sure-fire success. I mean, Gambit will provide the explosions while Deadpool will bring the mayhem. The two of them have all the necessities of a summer blockbuster. What's more, you just know that a Gambit movie will draw mass appeal just as a Ryan Reynolds movie will grab media attention.

Of course, the only thing in the way is a working plot to put the two together but that's a cinch.

I guess it could work, but I fear the plot would have to be well done to avoid the cheesiness of a "team up" movie. Certainly it has character appeal.
