Anyhow, here is some premiere info from the Ausiello Report:

Question: Could you please give some spoilers on Psych regarding Shawn and Juliet? —Steve

Ausiello: The show’s fall premiere (airing Nov. 10) will pick up shortly after the couple’s big kiss in the finale. “Our viewers are probably a little unsure of what that kiss meant,” says exec producer Steve Franks. “Will Juliet still take some time away on the Amalfi coast with Declan, or did the kiss change her mind? In the 5.5 premiere, she is still on her way to Italy, and Shawn is on his way to Canada at the request of convicted thief Pierre Despereaux [a returning Cary Elwes]. Their divergent travel plans may have derailed their romantic momentum, until Juliet unexpectedly shows up in Vancouver for Despereaux’s extradition and that spark becomes a fire. The question is, Do Shawn and Juliet believe ‘what happens in Canada, stays in Canada’? Stay tuned.”

Cary Elwes is returning! :woot:

Haha, Cary Elwes is totally the bigger news out of that and Shawn and Juliet's kiss. :awesome:

This is great. I have off tomorrow so I can stay up tonight to watch it.

I sure hope they changed the sheets before Shawn and Jules got there :o

What an episode! I loved that they poked fun of the traditional in public kiss in the will they/won't they romance.

Elwes was awesome as always. Plus the Psych Out was hillarious.

"I told you it wasn't 'rock me Amadeus 13!'"
"Sky diving Judy Dench, I've been set up!"

Also, screw Chris Pine! James Roday for Flash damn it!

Nice little Batman 1989 reference there by Shaun.

Gus at the end. :lmao:

lol, that is such a bad suggestion for Flash, a short, stocky guy that can run fast. I don't see it.

There's more to playing a character than physical resemblance.

"The waffle family."

"Do you know what that means?"

"Yes. We have to try those waffles."

"Coins. I have him Canadian dollars. They're in coins."

"You gave him a peppermint paddy, Shawn."

"Really? That was much too generous."

That may be true for some characters but a character that runs fast (high metabolism and such) a short, stocky guy just wouldn't fit. The Flash is an athletic character and a athletic build is inherent in the character.

Anyway...

Great premier episode. I like (Big Apple) MacIntosh, he is such a straight guy and it is funny to see him in Shawn's chaotic world. lol

Cary Elwes was great as usual but I can never stop thinking of the Dread Pirate Roberts.

That's why Hollywood has trainers.

Roday is not short and stocky. He's listed as 5'10 and height is one of the easiest things to tweak visually in a movie. Heck, Robert Downey, Jr. is only 5'9 and he was perfect as Iron Man.

Awesome episode last night. I'm surprised to see no one talking about it. The case itself was decent. But the banter was awesome
‎"Gus, don't be the only black lead on a major cable network"

And props to Gus for blocking the knife with the garbage lid

Such a good episode. "Are you Fredrick Douglas?" :lmao:

My immediate thoughts.

1) The writers need to figure out a reason for the characters to go back to Dual Spires at some point.

2) Shules are working really well together.

3) The Twin Peaks inspired opening was hillarious.

4) It should be a rule that Father Westley must pop up at least 3 times a season. Ray Wise is hillarious in that role.

This season has been sooooo good. I've never seen Twin Peaks, but still, funny stuff. I agree Matt, Father Westley is too cool and must appear more often.

Only complaint I have is that Lassiter, besides the tap dancing episode, really hasn't been given anything to do but revert back to his old whining at Shawn mode.

I figure Lassiter will get some great moments when he finds out about Shules (aside from being torn between going by the book and being loyal to his partner, he also has grown to see Jules almost as a sister and her being with his nemesis could be interesting).

If anyone has been sidelined this season, I would say its the Chief. She's barley around and seems like Henry has her job, even though he doesn't. Anyway, very good episode tonight. I've never seen Twin Peaks, but really enjoyed this episode.

Next week Ralph "The Karate Kid" Machio & a Police Academy parody. Gus acting like Michael Winslow making machine gun sounds, will definitely be funny.

I can't remember, did Shawn already go through the Academy, but decided to quit halfway?
