I can't remember, did Shawn already go through the Academy, but decided to quit halfway?

No. He never tried to be a cop. In fact, Henry told him that he "blew his chances at being a cop," when he got arrested for stealing a car to make out with a girl (by Henry, shown in the season 3 premiere).

Oh man..that last episode was so hilarious. I laughed so hard. Especially everytime the weepy sad music turned out and people started crying. LOL

That eppy rocked. Never seen Twin Peaks, but just....probably the best eppy this season.

:woot: And Shawn referenced General Hospital! :awesome:

Such a good episode. "Are you Fredrick Douglas?" :lmao:

My immediate thoughts.

1) The writers need to figure out a reason for the characters to go back to Dual Spires at some point.

2) Shules are working really well together.

3) The Twin Peaks inspired opening was hillarious.

4) It should be a rule that Father Westley must pop up at least 3 times a season. Ray Wise is hillarious in that role.

Ray Wise is perfect here, like he was as Satan on Reaper. He scenes were awesome.

And Shawn and Gus sure do eat a lot...like Shaggy and Scooby.

Also the way the town was acting, I honestly think inbreeding has occured. Talking about the ending. 288 people...c'mon now, you know something is up there.

I love when Gus remarks on how hot the librarian is and Shawn asks "What exactly is the difference between altar boy Gus and delinquent Gus?"

Another fun episode but does anyone else feel like the writers have no idea what to do with Shawn's dad anymore, I swear they just split the chief's lines between her and him.

Yeah, they've basically ended the flashbacks. Henry needs to leave the force and go back to being the guy Shawn goes to for advice. Though with a Christmas episode coming up, Henry will probably get some screen time.

That said, this half of the season has been great. :up;

How about the Chief left and Shawn's dad was promoted to the position?

Nah,I'd prefer they keep the chief they have. Speaking of which, it was good to finally see her get more screentime.

It was shocking to see so many people get shot in one episode. :o

I wonder if it would have worked better if Henry had joined Psych instead of the police department.

Just a reminder there are two new episodes on tonight starting at 9/8 central.

Lassater's sister was hot.:D

Next weeks episode will be the season finale already, this has been a very short season for Psych, so will we have to wait until summer for new episodes again? Hopefully the masked man will finally be revealed & we don't get another season finale cliff hanger like last season. It sucks that Mr Yin wasn't used more throughout this season & is only used as a finale story arch.

I'm hoping they hold off on revealing him and give us a whole season on them trying to figure out who he is. It always bugs me when they use the dramatic stories for the season finales. Like how Monk only got a lead on his Wife's case during the season finales. It wouldn't hurt to just mention the case a couple of times throughout the season.

Speaking of Monk...it's a real shame we never got that cross over. :(

Wilin' Wit Da Gusters needs to be made into webisodes or something. :woot:

I'm a bit disappointed though that Shules did not get any play in the Christmas episode. Its their first Christmas together. Giving them a gift exchange or something could've played out nicely.

Also, what was the card that Shawn read?

I know, I loved those commercials they used to play where the various USA stars would cross paths. Would've made for an awesome episode to have them all intertwining.

That would be very funny. Was that Keshia Knight Pulliam who played Gus's wife in that segment?

Only if Gus is gonna keep bustin' out those moves in each episode. :hehe:

That first episode was fantastic. The second one was good too, but the first was probably one of the best Psychs of this season, if not the series. So many hilarious bits, including a really good "don't be": "Don't be the way Eriq La Salle spells 'Eric.'" :lmao: Tony Cox was awesome, too.

Yes, it was. I almost died during that segment when Gus started dancing.

I loved Tony Cox's reaction to it.

HA! [blackout]Peter Weller is Yin![/blackout]

Awesome. Just the coolest reveal ever! :woot:

After all that has transpired, it was bit of an underwhelming ending to the Yin/Yang saga, but seeing Jules get to kick butt was great.:D Perhaps Yin lied about what was in the needle & didn't really bite it, so he could always come back in some way at a later time.

I actually enjoyed it quite a bit, though I feel that [blackout]Weller[/blackout] was underused.
