I think Bale looks excellent, again, in this film and I was definitely liking the accent. One of my favorite shots in the trailer is actually a quick shot of Purvis entering the area with the cells where Dillinger is being held before the "here's the man who killed pretty-boy floyd" line, where Bale just has a stone-cold badass face on him.

You're probably right, it's not like that jump is that hard to do, and I really doubt they would use CGI this poorly in the film.

I loved that part too. Concerning Bale's accent, I especially loved his delivery of "the only way you'll leave this jail cell is when we take you out to execute you". It's amazing how well he not only can nail an american accent, but a southern accent at that. Being from the south myself, it sounds genuine.

Depp is 45 but the dude looks like he's in his early 30s. And a couple years prior he did Pirates so I'm sure there must be a reason for that 'stunt double' shot.

I'm not sure if the stunt double thing has been confirmed, but I was thinking maybe he has blood on his face in that shot, and they made them edit his face because it was too graphic.

You're probably right, it's not like that jump is that hard to do, and I really doubt they would use CGI this poorly in the film.

Look at his vest too, you can see it's being pulled up on the right by his ribcage. Most definitely a wire because seriously, who jumps that softly, and gets that much air. Not a 45 year old Johnny Depp, that's for sure.

I think they're talking about the shot of him firing the tommy gun while riding the car, I don't think he's holding two though.

But with the hurdle thing, some caps to show what I mean. It's most likely one of those things where they want it to be an exciting shot in the film, and instead of having Depp having to bust his butt in getting it down just right. Get a professional to get it down in two takes so they can all move on to the rest of the scene (and just paste his face on the double). He's definitely got wires though, that vest is being pulled up and he's heading high up north before even planting his hand on the table.

But from how slow and gravity defying he seems to look in that shot that's why I say it's meant to look "cool", therefore a diificult stunt for Depp to do perfectly. They did that several times in Indy 4 in pasting Shia's face on the motorcycle driver during the chase, Vin Diesel in xXx, Kate Bosworth in Blue Crush, nothing new and unfamiliar and it doesn't make him any less amazing of an actor. He just doesn't do alot of the physically demanding stuff from what I see for personal reasons I guess.

These shots that look like Depp has his face digitally added in during post might be a little misleading. They could look a little weird due to the movie being filmed digitally. I don't know too much about cameras, but I do know a little bit, like that most cameras have pros and cons. For instance a camera we used on a movie a year or so ago had a weird reaction recording people moving or recording while the camera was moving. It just looked a little wonky. I suppose that could be a side-effect of using the camera that Mann uses. But like I said, I don't know that much about cameras.

Oh my bad then, never mind. It doesn't look that physically demanding to me either, and neither does taking a fake gun butt and landing on a soft bed. I just find it interesting how he needs doubles for such small things, just wonder why that is exactly.
