Okay. In the 1st movie trailer for PE, in the beginning where it shows Depp in action robbing a bank....the music used sounds like the music from the big LA bank robbing scene in HEAT.

Depp doesn't look very much like Dillinger (I see more of a Sam Rockwell type there), not that it really matters anyway, this movie cannot come out fast enough. We're due for a good gangster movie and I hope this is the one.
 
Josh Brolin looks a bit like Dillinger IMO.

As long as Depp portrays Dillinger well that's all that matters. :woot:
 
Although I have been curious about this film for quite some time, after seeing some TV spots and watching the trailers I am really looking forward to it now. Has anyone read the book the film is losely based on? Is it a good read?
 
I'm loving the pictures... looking forward to this even more :up:

I read it and I would reccomend it. And I wouldn't say losly based on this looks pretty damn accurate to what is in the book.
