Punisher is going to take up Captain America Mantle (maybe, for a little bit)

Frank has too much respect for Capt. and the name of Capt. America to sully it by killing every villain he sees. If Frank does become Capt. I think he'll act like Capt. and hold back from killing the villians.

I certainly hope you're right. That's my big beef with him being Captain America.

After several years working in relative anonymity, the Punisher made his presence felt, killing several villains-turned-registered “heroes” and briefly joining Captain America’s side before being knocked out by Cap himself for his homicidal tendencies. Nonetheless, after Cap surrendered, the Punisher picked up his discarded mask.
