good morning, as a actor from England, it is very hard to get parts in a movie like this, and it hurts more when you have grown up reading the comic's as a kid. so am asking. how do a get in touch with the casting team/person?

Shouldn't your agent be able to get that information for you?

Fair question. My agent works well for work in the uk,when i had one (cost Reasons) but as you may or may not know, trying to get work in the states (across the pond) proves a bit more harder, as is getting the right agent. when you make the wrong choice you can get BURNED.
not mad about it (peoples human nature and all that).

Try contacting Jon, thru is myspace page, you might get lucky, or try contacting the production some how, just throwing ideas out.

could someone try asking jon if famke is in iron man?

I believe its been asked, but Jon hasn't been on myspace in awhile and if he has he's not leaving new replies, most likely busy with casting and other production work.

He wouldn't probably answer that yet anyways but he's leaving replies scatter on the forum but few and far between and he's responding to my private messages...at least 50% of them anyways. LOL

well PM him about famke then i did but got no reply so u try scince he replies to u lol

It's not that often ok. I don't send him alot of PM's. Maybe 4 or 5 in the last 3 months. I know he reads them all cause you can see when he opens your mail. He responded to 2 of them in that time frame. He's in the middle of casting. Filming starts relatively soon here so he's never going to catch up. He probably skims through his messages until he sees a topic or person he recognizes and reads those. Maybe he reads them all...I don't know.

Jon gets way too many messages to be able to read them all, let alone respond to all of them.

I think it's safe to say if they had already done that bit of casting, he'd be free to post about it. And he would.

Maybe Shang-Chi will come your way. Might be a good idea to be active in the Ant-Man thread BTW too. Hook up with Edgar from the UK and maybe you'll get on his good side.

Thanks for the advise, i will look into it.

Favreau updated his Iron Man group yesterday by adding this thread regarding the casting of "PEPPER". He's looking for some input:

in tried that to suggest alyson hanigan as pepper but i coudn't get the thing to work right

I suggested Alyson on the thread, took me a couple attempt's but was able to post her pic, I think she would make a great Pepper Potts, but the only thing now is her age, she is so much younger than Robert and Terrence.

She's 32 and that's a whole lot older than just about all the other chicks people are nominating. Howard's 37 or 38 and Downey's 41. I'd say she's the only one so far(age-wise) that fits the bill. We sure don't want another Holmes or Bosworth up there pretending to be adults, do we? You could always go with Vicky Lewis too, she's 46.

Thanks, I wasn't sure of her age. Your right she's much closer to Robert's and Terrence's age than I thought. I believe she would make a great Pepper Potts, but we'll she who Jon picks.

Didn't know where to post this.

From Marvel intern AdamDavis's Blog:

My First Day at Marvel

Los Angeles hates me. I got a parking ticket four minutes after 9:00, because of some confusing rule that begins at 9. And that's how my day started.

Went upstairs, met my internship coordinator/boss Stephen, met the other intern Heather, and got the lay of the land. We went through our intern manual and agreement, then we got to meet a bunch of people. All of them were extremely nice, and I really felt like I fit in. Didn't get to see or meet Avi Arad yet, but I did get to meet Jon Favreau. What an incredibly nice guy! He's directing Iron Man for Marvel, so he's working at their office. Really cool guy, I can't stress that enough.

Then I got my first task of filing away comics that were used for research. There was a pretty big stack and the comic library vault is pretty expansive. They have pretty much every issue of every Marvel comic ever. I probably leafed through more comics in one day than anyone has ever seen in their life.

After lunch, I continued my filing, then I started some research work for Iron Man. That went pretty well.

And I left at 6.

That was pretty much my first day. I apologize for being so curt, but I'm not sure how much I can talk about due to the confidentiality agreement I signed. Better to be safe.

Next: Day 2, and X-Men 3's release.

Gwyneth Paltrow has been cast as Virginia Pepper Potts. I met her on an idie called Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle many years ago. We begin filming in eight weeks.

Stan Winston is working on the suit. Sets are being built. Fergus and Ostby(Children of Men) are working on the script. Matty Libatique is shooting it. Everything is really coming together.

Jon just put this pic on his site for some reason. LOL I guess he's at the dentist and had his teeth cleaned or something. Crazy rabbit.

Or perhaps (more likely) he's giving us a hint that he is gonna play Happy Hogan. I'll be that's it.
