1. Was that Toad on the wall during the mutant meeting in the church?

2. Was the guy talking Mastermind?

3. Why exactly was Ben Foster, of all people, cast as Angel? I mean, he was fine, but it's odd casting.

1. No, but it looked like he had powers fairly similar to Toad. My guess is that guy was semi-reptilian, probably able to shoot venom too or something.

2. He was just some random guy whose only purpose was to look weak in comparison to Magneto.

3. For all the screen time Angel got anyways, they could've put a trained monkey in the role.

Thanks for clearing those up. I ask about Mastermind simply because, as many fans noted, the guy looks an awful lot like him.

No. Jason Stryker was Mastermind.

As for why Ben Foster? Probably because he was affordable. How an incredibly dorky-looking guy like Foster can get cast as an adonis is beyond me.

Except Mastermind was stuck drooling all over himself in a wheelchair, and then the dam collapsed on top of him followed by Alkali Lake, so I'm afraid he wouldn't have been able to make it to that meeting.
