Quesada killed Marvel.

If there is, I haven't read it. I haven't seen the entire movie, either.

I used to hate watching that move when I was a kid. It was so boring. :down

Yeah, and the flying monkeys were done too cutesy, so you couldn't even enjoy the campiness of them the way you could the flying dudes in Flash Gordon.

I could never find the dude in background, either. You know, the guy that supposedly killed himself.

Heh. Another "I hate Quesada" thread. How many is this now...like # 1,980? Pft.

You know what Joe Quesada is probably doing right now? He's probably sleeping. He's probably sleeping VERY WELL too. He sits in an office all day and gets to tell people what to write and not write in Marvel comics. He's got a job that many around here dream about.

Now...if you don't like Marvel. If you don't like Quesada. If it's unrecognizable and you don't like it...THEN DON'T ****ING READ IT!! I might be a little illogical here but I think that would be the natrual reaction.

But it's quite hilarious now. Especially over in the Spider-Man comics board. I have to hear from "intelligent" posters over there about how they know everything about comics and Spider-Man. Yadda yadda yadda. If you've spent time in that forum you'd know the drill.

But for all this "intelligence" that most have around here it's being wasted. How many times have many of you insulted Quesada? How many of you have actually punched your monitor or your desk because of a "decision" that Joe Quesada made? How many hours and days and years have been spent complaining about this fat guy who is but a human being like you and me?

Yeah, real intelligent. Spending hours of your life, which could have been spent more productively, complaining about a fat guy who gives two ****s about you. Yeah, way to show Marvel that you're not going to take their crap. Yeah, make another "Quesada is a poo poo head" thread and maybe this time they'll hear you, right? HA!

It's another thread that says, "I have no life. All I do is sit and read comics and Joe Quesada is even ruining that, boo hoo". That's all I hear anymore. Yes, people are allowed to have opinions. But the past four to five years I've sat on this board and I've seen nothing but hatred for a guy who doesn't even know that most of you exist. The time for an opinon usually ends after the first year.

Because...for some of you posters who are "intelligent" you certainly don't get the fact that Quesada is changing Marvel and it's going to be like this for...well, probably the rest of your lives. So, it's either sit on a message board complaining about Quesada getting fatter and fatter or maybe moving on with your lives and doing something productive.

Until then, I will continue basking in this "intelligence" everyone seems to have around here. :cwink:

It took me a while to get to that point but I agree with you. I just couldnt justify buying the books anymore when the EIC and almost everyone at Marvel seemed to just want to piss us off. Decision after decision was made which made me question what they wanted the Marvel Universe to be. I got to the point where I was just reading books to complain about them on the internet. Once I realized what I was doing I stopped buying the books all together. I havent bought a comic in over two years I think and judging by what I read here it's not going to happen anytime soon. I discovered I am much happier and have more money to spend.

Yet here you are, commenting on them.

small steps bro...small steps
I keep up with whats going on to determine if its the right time to come back...The bought and thought threads help immensly.
I dont hate comics I just dont want to give people money who seem to get off from pissing me off...I get enough of that from my Ex

Well, yeah...I have a life where I go outside and everything. I don't sit on this message board day in and day out like some people do. :cwink:

If saying that makes you feel better about yourself, that's fine. It's still a lie however.

I don't know why other people don't realize that too. If more people would just let somethings go they might change for the better without the constant complaining and wasted breath.

Like politics right? If we just let everything go, things will change. Terrorists would go away, our economy would skyrocket etc. That's the ticket! LET IT GO!

I think some people do realize this but cant break away from the comics or their favorite characters. They are the ones foaming at the mouth over OMD but at the LCS on wed buying BND. JQ doesnt act like a person who needs our business...he acts like a drug dealer. He knows we need our fix and is gonna do whatever he wants and make us jump thru hoops to get it. I was tired of jumping.

Um no, not really, not at all.

Says the guy who's now complaining about people complaining about OMD in two threads.

Sigh. Dude...real life, politics, and the betterment of mankind is a LOT DIFFERENT than the fictional adventures of Spider-Man or Captain America.

Comics are entertainment and a luxury. Politics and real life are necessary things that we have to deal with no matter what. People can go without comics. People can't go without politics and real life.

But you're going to continue being a dick so this will be our last communication for a while
