Question about the comics this week (9-6-06)

Are the comic books being released this week gonna be out on Wednesday or, because of Labor Day, Thursday?

your best bet is Thursday. I asked the guy that runs one of the shops I go to, and that's what he told me.

It will probably be a day later everywhere. As Diamond would be running a day late shipping things.

I was honestly thinking the same thing as Binker. Yes, usually when there is a holiday the comics get pushed back a day, but usually Diamond sets their list date back as well. This is the first time I've actually seen their list not go a day back.

Though I'll be waiting til Thursday because I don't want to be the only schmuck who walks into the comic shop all like, "Uh, duh, wheres the new comics, derrrrr!!"

They didnt release the list until today.

The list for next week didn't get released until today. But the comics coming out THIS week are still listed underneath 9-6-06, which is tomorrow. Usually Diamond, on the week of a holiday, lists the date pushed back to Thursday.

It's possible they just messed up or Labor Day just isn't that important to them.

Yeah. I believe the comics won't come out til Thursday because of Labor Day (this has happened before). But its best to call and find out. I mean I'm buying two things anyway so I'm be good either way.
