The Dark Knight Rises Ra's Al Ghul ?

Do you post childish questions in every thread?

Knowing Ra's, if I was Batman I would've checked for a body and be sure he was dead in that train wreckage.

I think Jeremy Irons would be a fitting Ra's Al Ghul if they ever did a remake or a show.

Does anyone have an idea where to get the dark green velvet scarf Ra's is wearing during at the birthday party? or at least a scarf like it?

Much appreciated! :-)

I'd honestly go to a fabric store and buy a yard of the closest match you can find; I looked everywhere for a green velvet like opera scarf, and had no luck finding it.

But no... I'd recommend making it yourself, which shouldn't be too hard. :yay:

In this series there have been many ra's before neeson's ra's and there will be more after him in this timeline. Its the same as batman except we know that bruce was the first batman, robin(blake) is the second but we dont know who will be the next batman(after robin blake) or ra's. We dont know who was ra's before neeson's or who will be after him. Well bane was a type of ra's but he had the name bane and mask. This series is about the battle between bale's batman and neeson's ra's. We just see robin (blake) get the cave and equipment but not suit up because again this is about bale's batman on screen which happens to be bruce wayne and the general audience know that bruce wayne is batman (on screen). We dont need to see robin (blake) suit up. Bane really was continuing ra's destiny. I believe that if bane never got the mask or banished from the Los he would of been the next ra's. Complete with beard(well maybe). But he had this persona thrust on him(got mask by saving talia) which makes neeson ra's excommunicate him. Which reminds him of his wife. But bane still gets to run the Los anyway after ra's because of talia.

LOS is well and truly screwed now. They have to be done for after that.

They can always rebuild. Who is to say that they are the only branch or fraction. They would have men in countless citys over the world. Recruit more, bring back the other people that are scattered. Hey the neeson ra's could of been just a ra's for that headquarters and their sole mission is to just attack gotham while other hideouts would attack other citys with their own ra's leading them. maybe.

It's like Al Qaeda. Just cuz you kill the leader of the time doesn't mean there isn't a guy left back at basecamp to pick up the mantle.

The Al Ghul bloodline is dead and so is Bane. It's true that we don't know the intricacies of the league but their leadership has been wiped out and the members that were in Gotham and survived were rounded up by the police. But even if they do regroup and try again Gotham is in the best state it's ever been (maybe ever will be) and still has a "watchful guardian" to help protect it.

Very good answer. We have to think that the very worst is over for gotham, because that makes the ending of Rises powerful. But if there comes a time when the cops in gotham cant handle a threat, in comes the batman.

Quoted for truth.

The LOS is done.

Didnt RAG have a daughter with another woman?

(In the comics)

Ra's had an older daughter in the Batman comics (created by Greg Rucka in 2003 and killed off a few years later) named Nyssa. Ra's wanted her to inherit The Demon/League of Assassins and set it up so that she killed him and became the new leader. It was Rucka who got the ball rolling down the hill in turning Talia into a more boring comic villain (by being brainwashed in the Lazarus Pit by Nyssa) and Grant Morrison furthered that path to the present. And the Goyer/Nolan brothers pushed it even further than the comics in the movie in terms of one dimensional villainy.
