Vocally he sounds weak (compare to Superman's voice in the TAS), and physically he just looks like some dude in a suit.

That is a very, very good thing in my book. As for his physical appearance as Superman, I'll have to wait and see how he is in the movie. I held the same reservations about Bale until I saw the movie

I want Superman to feel like a god just descended from Mt. Olympus and walks among mortals. Routh doesn't do that for me.

That would be very contrary to his character.

I haven't seen this new trailer yet. Can someone provide a good link? By the way, I've already seen a few TV spots for SR.

I hope that's the right one - I went to YouTube looking for the version I saw with X3, and this wasn't it, LOL. I really love this one though, for some reason. This movie is going to be so visually gorgeous, even if I think there's still something weird about the shot of Supes landing...
