Justice League Ray Fisher - WB Investigation Updates Thread

when Peter Shinkoda made similar accusations against higher ups at Marvel TV he was ignored by pretty much everybody and quickly forgotten so sometimes it does go away by ignoring them.

Which is odd since from what I remember Shinkoda went into much more detail than Ray did. Though I think in that case Loeb was no longer working for Marvel, while here Ray wants people still associated with WB to get fired.

In the case of Peter Shinkoda, however, the situation was effectively already settled because Jeph Loeb no longer works for Marvel since the TV division was shut down.

Still not sure who she's referring to here, Todd Helbing, Geoff Johns, or both. With the JL investigation logic would tell you it's Johns since by her own account she didn't seem to care much about him during her time on Krypton, but her accusations about being fired from S&L were related to Helbing, not Johns. So is she talking about showing different "receipts". She went to HR for how she was treated on S&L by Helbing and co. and was then fired for it, while she was more of a "character witness" with the JL investigation in terms of describing a certain pattern of behavior from Johns that seems to match Ray's own impression of him? Could that be a logical assumption. Someone on twitter recently called me "too demanding" in terms of looking for more details. Do I really come off that way here.

Ray isn’t wrong. I’m hyped for black Supes, but I also recognize that WB still has systemic issues in place. It’s a step forward, but there’s a lot they still gotta work on.

It's the same back and forth for months. Ray tweets something new, WB tries to counter with a casting or movie announcement to bring the attention to themselves and try to end up looking good. "Oh who cares if a black actor who we fired recently is accusing us of being soulless two-faced clowns, we got a black Superman for y'all!" And that just keeps repeating itself. It's a like a vicious cycle that won't stop.

By constantly being reactive to him, they're giving him power he wouldn't have if they weren't giving it to him, continuously, for months.

By rights he should be a minor nuisance to them easily brushed aside, not an ongoing PR nightmare.

But they've let it go on too long now.

WB stayed silent until Fisher dared to try and undermine their Black Superman announcement. Interesting.

WB are going to have to do something about Ray Fisher.

The investigator’s statement, while obviously I think even most skeptics attitudes towards Fisher have changed somewhat, is an important data point.

There was more than one investigator I believe and one Fisher refused to coperate with....I assume this is the guy so one can hardly hold his discarded findings to regard.

Is there any reason to assume this is that person? Beyond disagreeing with Fisher?

Nope that quote is from the current investigator that Ray himself praised. Things are looking dicey for him atm

Oh Ray....his biggest problem is that he was happy with the investigation but wasnt happy with all of the outcomes and its only making him look bad because he wants their heads on a platter and makes him seem obsessive.

I didnt think the investigation would really impact his career but I do think him continuing to go on these rants will make others be a bit weary of him.

I'm sure he'll find a way to spin it.

WB needs to stop the back and forth. Just forget it and move forward now. They could meet Fisher's every demand and he'd still be bleating on social media.

WB simply needs to walk away. People will eventually get bored with the story when it's just Fisher rambling on twitter.
