Justice League Ray Porter IS Uxas/Darkseid

So essentially all of his scenes will be the ones that they put Steppenwolf in as far as flashbacks? Have to say it makes more sense to have Steppenwolf compared to Darkseid. His first apperance being defeated tones him down just a tad.

Keep in mind, this is pre-Darkseid. This likely isn't Darkseid at his present-day power, something I wonder if Zack intented to explore or explain in the movies.

Also, I imagine the only reason he was defeated was because it took all of humanity, all of the Atlanteans (including their magic), all of the Amazons and their special weapons, AND the Greek Gods.

Given what we know of the supposed sequels, it wouldn't have been just six people. And not exactly another Endgame-type climax either.

The design idea is cool, but something about his look feels clunky and as if isnt yet finished.
I cant put my finger onto it.
But the idea of the design is neat.

His head has very low mobility.

Actually consider the Knightmare sequence. The Justice League loses to Darksied. Supposedly Batman sacrifices himself to keep Superman from falling for the Antilife equation. We will never see it on screen unfortunately ........

i feel them showing darkseid in the beginning of this is the equivalent of them showing how sauron gets defeated in the beginning of the first lord of the rings movie.
it takes all the united armies of the difference races to do it.
and he never shows up in physical form to battle in the movie again - but his presence is always felt.

Im honestly totally fine with that. Yes I would LOVE to see Superman and Darkseid duke it out but just SEEING Darkseid and the Justice League share the same screen in live action even if its just a short stare down would be sweeeeet.

Yes, Superman was recently resurrected but he was super-charged by Mother box and he was not holding back whereas other JL members were not looking to kill him as they thought he could be calmed down.

If WW or Aquaman really wanted to kill him they could, even Flash can harm Superman when he's fully using speed-force.
