I think the NY media would trade the Giants success to the Jets in a second.

Not that I'm saying the Giants are unpopular. Recent polls and ticket sales have them as a top 3 team.

The Giants have been around 35 years longer than the Jets.

The Giants have had more championship success.

The only reason I can think of is, the Giants doesn't give the media those sexy back page stories that they need.

You know what I'm tired of? Every year apparently being the Eagles year. Every single offseason we hear that the Eagles, regardless of what shape they are in, are primed to make a run for the Super Bowl and almost without fail they manage to screw it up somehow. And yet with a completely straight face all of the so-called "experts" pick them all over again the next offseason.

Someone on KSK or Deadspin put it brilliantly recently: Nobody wins the Super Bowl in July better than the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sure, they look great now. But just wait until the season starts. They'll barely scrape by in a few games they should have probably lost, they'll lose horribly against a few teams they probably should have beaten, Vick will get injured, *****e-sean Jackson will put in a half-assed performance or ten, and all of Philadelphia will be calling for Andy Reid to be fired at the end of the season.

And they'll keep him on board once again, because upper management apparently is content with stacking the deck and yet somehow always achieving mediocrity.

There was a lot of drama back in 05 between Tiki, Shockey and Coughlin. I remember after a rough loss against the Seahawks Tiki and Shockey blasted Tom in the press.

Not really all that surprised, considering his son's past problems. I wouldn't be shocked to see Reid step down as coach for a good portion of the season, if not quit entirely.

I love Kevin LOLB. Ken Whisenhunt and the entire Cardinals front office must be slamming their heads into a wall right now, wondering if there's any way they can get back that money they paid him in the offseason. He's horrible. He's the free agency version of Jamarcus Russell.

I feel bad for Larry Fitzgerald though. He deserves better than that pathetic organization.

The organization isn't that bad, they've assembled a great core of position players, just can't find a QB, smartest thing for them to do is throw this season and draft a QB. A QB like Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco would be enough to make them Super Bowl threats.

Not sure I agree with that. Cardinals have a lot more holes than just QB. That defense has become pretty suspect after the defections the past few years. Peterson and Dockett can only do so much.

Same as matt flynn this off season, they both came from head coaches who were QB guru's and atleast the cardinals thought he was worth what they gave up. in hine sight the eagles robbed them. it just goes to show how desperate teams are for a franchise QB. Just imagine if vick had never done what he did 2 years ago, kolb might still be there QB lol.

The cardinals need a QB similar to Kurt Warner and how he ran the offense. If they can get a decent QB who can get the ball to Fitz and have the running game step up then they can mask the holes in defense a little better, I still say theyll be fighting the rams for last place.
