Reactions from the "general public"

I went to see V for Vendetta again and they played the teaser trailer. This time, the theatre was full of teenagers and not-so-teenagers... who start to laugh and make fun of the whole teaser. I thought "what the--?", but later it was confirmed they were just a bunch of mother****ers; they laughed the whole movie and bothered the few people that wanted to see the movie quietly.

D*mn, what a bad luck: I've seen this movie twice and both times I've had those teens and NOT-so-teens making noise.

Vote for X3 on the CS!'s new May poll!

It's already #1 at a whopping 67.1%! :D

thats neat, but the only real competition in may is the davinci code.

They're also using the trailer in the advertisements by FACT to deter people from recording pirate copies whilst in the cinema. I was not expecting to see it. I was watching a 3D 'Deep Sea' thing at the British Science Museum!!! (I know, I'm mega cool)

It was a nice suprise... :)

Yes, but look at X3's 67% to DVC's 18%.

I don't think X3 will have to worry too much about Da Vinci Code come May 26.

WorthyStevens look at the FACTS man, the FACTS!!!

TBH I'm not bothered about any film providing competition except Over The Hedge. Ice Age 2 has shown that animated movies are serious contenders and are able to make a lot of money.

You were looking at the percentages and then, from that, deducing that DVC isn't going to be a threat to X3.

See, I can tell you go by facts!

Now I've scared you, havn't I?

A bit. :p

The hell, 67%? Three times bigger than the second contender? Holy ****.

I showed it to some of my friends they're all real excited, my one friend isn't even really into x-men and wants to see this now. (I'm trying to turn him into an x-men guy lol) Now that I think about it everyone I showed the trailor to think it looks good and want to see it! yay

That's cool :) I never got to see the trailer/ teaser on the big screen :(
And Welcome!
Yeah, I've been wanting to see it alot on the big screen, I saw V for Vendetta, and when it was at the trailors I remembered someone sayin it might be playing before V, and it never did.. Ah well I saw the snakes on a plane trailor. lmao

Big screen, small screen. It's not that important to me. The only thing I MUST see on the big screen is the movie itself.

One of my coworkers, who's a film snob, said that X3 looked interesting.

Oh, and how many people voted in that poll??

I now predict X3 to pass 100 million opening weeking. Ice Age got 70 mil, it should be a peace of cake.

I went to see Scary Movie 4 today and while buying my ticket the X-Men 3 trailer was showing on multiple TV screens. A few people were watching while stood in the que. Then we sat down and the trailers started showing. There was '16 Blocks' with Bruce Willis, something else I cant remember and then X-Men 3 came on. It was wierd because I've seen it a million times but when it came on I didnt know what it was until I saw Bill Duke and then I was shocked. All my friends were there with me and watching it. A man got up to go to the toilet infront of us just when Angel was about to jump and I felt like throwing my drink at him.

Anyway, it ended and then another one came on. My friend next to me said 'I suppose it would have been better if I'd seen the first two'. Then I said 'Yes, It would'. That just showed me that my friend wanted to see it but because she hadnt seen the first two it put her off a bit. I'll be dragging them all with me anyway so I'm preparing to explain every subplot and everything that happened in X1 and X2.

You are a great friend. I hate explaining a movie to some people. I just get really annoyed for some reason.

dont they have references to the xmen movies in scary movie 4?
