Good finale. Thank god we're getting 13 more episodes, because I would of hated to be left hanging like that. It would of pissed me off even more than Invasion not getting renewed after being left with such a huge cliffhanger.

Wow, that ending was really badly put together. I didn't get a lot of things until later because they were left so ambiguous, and it never really gave any satisfying answers to anything.

Sams dad is a demon who sacrificed his first child because he fell in love with human woman and wanted to stay on Earth

Tony buries Sam and his dad alive because he thinks Sam is the son of Satan; but then he sees Steve, who claims he made it to Heaven, so he saves Sam and... just lets his dad die. We learn later that it's because only Tony saw Steve, while all the other demons from his rebellion still hate Sam and wouldn't have stopped if Tony had asked, but none of that is made very clear at the time. So Sam tells his mom, then we get scenes of Sam in mourning with Andi, then Sam in mourning with the boys, and then Sam tells Sock and Ben that he may be the son of the devil but, of course, we don't know for sure. Oh, and then Sam's mom digs up his dad, who asks, "What took you so long?" So Sam's (maybe-)dad isn't dead after all.

Sure. It wasn't as bad as I make it sound, honestly. It was just kind of obtuse and clumsy, which upset me because the episode was quite good up to that point.

It was good, but everything fell flat for me when

Sam's Dad supposedly died. It's like it was a minor inconvience, rather then the death of a beloved family member. I mean, I could understand the Mom's reaction since she obviously knew he wasn't dead, but Sam just seemed too disconnected.

Other then that, good stuff and here's hoping that succubus comes back.

Pretty good theory.

This would probably explain why he thought he couldn't bare a child. Him being a demon, she a human. And it could explain why Sam has powers.
