It would be amusing if they cast Anthony Head, considering he did audition for the devil part.

I love Wise's Devil too - what'd be interesting is if they ever decided to have God turn up at some point, personified as a man much the same as they have the Devil. That could be funny.

Thing is - who's got enough charisma to be an equal to Wise?

DUH!

This show is great, but sometimes Sam can frustrate me. If I was a Reaper, I would ask so many questions about the afterlife, heaven, hell, how do my powers work, etc.
Well, they can kind of sweep those concerns under the rug with the ol' "Why bother asking the devil 'cause he'll just lie anyway?" thing they used in the finale.

random thought, abit OFT, maybe

but, you know what I think would be really funny, a Reaper and Supernautal, crossover

No, thanks. I'd like to continue pretending Supernatural doesn't exist.

I do remember reading an interview with the actor who plays Sock, and one of the storylines he would like to see is Reapers from various states meeting up at some point. That could have potential.

maybe, it could just be on an episode of Supernatural,
but, be just a random having nothing to do with the storyline of Reaper, (so, reaper fans, who don't like supernatural doesn't have to watch it, to fellow the plot of reaper, but fans of both, could enjoy it) kinda thing

I think I'd like for God to be a woman if they ever did show ''him"/''her". Alanis would be great, but I don't really want this to become part of the ViewAskewniverse, cause then we would have to worry about Jay and Silent Bob starting to hang outside of the Work Bench. :o

I'd also like to see Brett Harrison (Sam's) best friend, Adam Brody, to guest on the show. Adam would probably make a great kind of slacker like demon that could be friends with Sam, Sock, and Ben.

You say that like its a bad thing

Mate, Jay and Silent Bob hanging outside would be the bomb.

Eh. I love most of Kevin Smith's movies...but this isn't his show. He's just a consultant. Making it part of his universe would be taking it from it's creators basically..so I'd just prefer to let it be it's own thing.

Yea, your right, really. But still, its Jay and Silent Bob!

you do have a point JuatABill, I do like the idea of a demon Slacker becoming their friend and hanging out with them though, maybe someone who really didn't deserve to go to hell but wound up there anyway.

is Sam supposed to have any powers?? you see in the pilot that he can control fire, to a point, but I haven't seen anything else resembling that....

He couldn't just control fire. He had telekinesis. He then had an argument with the Devil, where Sam renounced any help the Devil might offer, including powers. Sam then proves that the telekinesis was in him all along, when he saved himself from a falling clothes washer, indicting him as the Devil's child, in the eyes of the demons who set him up.

In terms of the Askewniverse, I'd like it to be referenced, with KS as a consultant and all. Sure have Alanis as God, maybe (but highly unlikely since...

he 'died' in Dogma) Jason Lee as Azrael

But that's just wishful thinking. I personally wouldn't want any other characters crossing over. I love Jay and Bob, but they belong in the movies.

Despite the Askewniverse canon, it would be cool to see Askew regulars appear as escaped souls

Yeah, it would kind of cool to see the guys that played Dante and Randall or even Jason Mewes as Demoms who've escaped, I hope they continue the whole bounty hunter thing, who was the last soul to escape anyway?

yeah but I thought about and naw leave them out of the viewaskewiniverse
