Damn, what minute? lol

EDIT: Nevermind, found it. It's from 2:40 to 7:1x, more or less.

Okay, so it sounds much more... fantasy like than I thought. It sounds MUCH more relaxed and "childish" than I thought for such a dark movie like this one. Now, don't get me wrong, the music sounds awesome, and I'm sure that with the proper editing it will make the movie amazing. Is just that I expected different, I don't know.

What I think is the Lizard theme, it sounds awesome and thrilling. And the music has cues that show a funny scene, I assume is either Peter doing something to hide his identity or Spidey quipping. The main theme sounds like the Universal Studios cue, but it becomes a pretty good soundtrack for the credits.

Anyway, I'm assuming a lot of things but, in general, I think it sounds pretty cool :D

Reminds me of LOTR for some odd reason ( not as good of course) LOTR has the best soundtrack IMO

What surprises me a lot is that there is a lot of guitar in the soundtrack, either acoustic or overdriven in more fast-paced cues.

Now, really, the soundtrack sounds epic and beautiful. **** yeah, Horner!!!

Is there any youtube link to the music instead of soundcloud out there?

EDIT: Nvm. Liked parts of it but something felt VERY off to me

Sounds fantastic and very different from what Horner usually does.

Definitely not what I was expecting...some of it sounded weird honestly.

But overall, digging it! Need to hear it all in context though.

It was a mish-mash of music from all over the place, so I couldn't recognize a theme yet. But the intense parts did sound pretty good.

Interesting.. Sounds like it would definitely balance out the grounded feel for a bit more whimsical feel. The section at 5:41 is also in the Lizard featurette, or it's a version of it.

Hmm... don't know what to think about the score samples. Sounds like a Disney movie, rather than a Spider-Man one) Some bits have reminded me of Batman: TAS and Batman Beyond tunes (which is great). I really need to hear how every track plays out individually in the film itself, so I could judge it properly.

I'm gonna be honest, it sounds different than I thought it would. But I like it.

I'm sure that once edited in to the movie it'll sound even greater. Great job Horner.

Hmm...I believe you above many others. I still don't think so, but I'll need to hear this "score."
Judging from the score samples, the music played last night IS a part of the score. It's the one that starts at 6:20.

Is that real? lol I'm not sure what to think. It sounds great (at the beginning it reminded me of Edward Scissorhands) but I dunno, it's so weird.

I like it. It's a little all over the place for my tastes, but I still like it. I'm sure it'll fit right in with the rest of the movie.

After listening to it a couple of times, I gotta say I love it. Some parts are very emotional, yet some are very benign.

This really shows to those haters that the movie won't be a dark and gritty copy of Nolan's Batman. Great work Horner! Can't wait to listen to the full soundtrack!

Now that I think of it, I'm glad that it sounds so unexpected and different. At least it won't be your generic comic book movie soundtrack.

I do really like how it's very light, and it's definitely not like Zimmer's Batman score. This samples definitely have Horner written all over it, but it's keeping a style that could match the tone of Spider-Man. I like it so far.

Pretty decent music. I can tell they were trying to go for what Zimmer did with Nolan's Batfilms and that is to not rival Elfman, but to make its own identity. It would be a shame if Horner intended to rival Elfman's score.

I like it. It's a little all over the place for my tastes, but I still like it. I'm sure it'll fit right in with the rest of the movie.

This is my feeling as well. My initial feeling was that there wasn't the iconic, immediately memorable score I was hoping to hear, and that there are moments of whimsy that seem odd.

But in hearing it a few times, parts of it are growing on me. I hope it will work really well in the context of the film.

I really want some part of the score that is memorable and unmistakable. I know it's shooting for the stars, but something like The Superman theme or Jurassic Park, when you hear it, you immediately associate it with the film. Hopefully there's some degree of that in this soundtrack from Horner.

Agreed. It sounds nothing like Elfman's score, which is a good thing. This was only a preview right? So the really awesome, most memorable part of the theme isn't in there?
