I'm actually really excited to hear the score for this movie. It makes quite a difference to me if the music is good, vs if the music isn't memorable and not that great.

That is the one problem I had with the X-Men movies. There was never a "theme" or memorable music score. Spider-Man, Superman & Batman have always had a theme. Heck, even Men in Black has one, so I'm sure this new film will as well.

My only problem with Horner is if the themes and score will be fresh and not something I've heard from his other movies. Horner has a very bad habit of blatantly reusing themes from previous scores for 25+ years now. I still have hope that he was inspired by this film (b/c he doesn't score these kinds of films often) and came up with something mostly fresh.

Yeah even though it was only a few seconds of music, it sounded really good and I hope it is in the real score.

Avengers theme was outstanding. It had the epic battle theme, the Thors Norse Godly ness, Iron Mans techy parts, Hulks epicness and Captains pure leadership and classicness to the theme IMO.

It just keeps playing in my head over and over.

Avengers was pretty good. Silvestri is one of my favorites, so that guy still delivers excellent work when he's phoning it in. His score suited the movie, it just didn't have as much character or fun as his Captain America score, but maybe that was deliberate because this wasn't supposed to belong to any one character.

I might have enjoyed the "Peter and the Wolf" of superhero scores where each character got their own unique instrument or sound, with a unifying theme that can play of them individually, and then the final "Avengers Assemble" would be carried by the energy of all those instruments jamming together.

Can't wait to hear what Horner's Spidey theme sounds like. I hope it gives Spidey and his world a flavor all it's own, and gives us a score we can't help but humm as one flips through a comic.

I'm desperate for a good spidey score. The score in the last films was 'ok'. I want spidey to join Batman 89 and Superman the movie in terms of unique sounding main themes.
