Have you ever listened to any of his albums in their entirety?

Dane Cook is hilarious, but in all honesty, only when you watch him. I didn't like listening to his comedy all that much.

Dane Cook puts a lot of physicality into his performances. Some of his jokes are only amusing when seen.

Anyway, try some musical comedians.

Brian Regan live is HILARIOUS! It takes real talent to make clean comedy and be as hilarious as he is.

Also, try and get Steven Wright: I Have a Pony. He defines the word genious. And Jimmy Carr: Live. He's like a dirty Steven Wright.

Dane Cook makes me laugh, but I don't think he is a really good comedian and I agree that seeing him perform is a lot funnier than listening to him.

So what's the deal with Joe Rogan acusing Denis Leary and Carlos Mencia of stealing acts? There's a pretty good video on youtube where Rogan confronts Mencia and has all sorts of evidence, but I've never heard more about the Denis Leary claim.



Also what's the deal with lots of comedians acusing Cook of stealing lots of material also?

Leary, as I understand it, is accused of stealing Hicks' presentation. I don't know if he's also accused of stealing jokes from Hicks, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Carlos Mencia is notorious for stealing jokes. Ignoring that, Mencia loses points with me for feeling the need to explain his jokes afterward. He does it as if his comedy is so intelligent it goes over the audience's heads (even though his comedy is so lowbrow, it's one level above fart jokes), and sometimes uses the explanations in place of a forgotten punchline. That, and he makes far too many negative Mexican jokes for someone who's not Mexican.

Any of their albums are simply amazing. You listen to Dick Gregory and Red Foxx, you'll find out exactly where Richard Prior got his inspiration from. Those two made some incredibly funny records. And Lenny Bruce...he's a legend for a reason.

Carlos Mencia sucks! There are spinning bow ties that are funnier than him. Seriously! Who dosen't like a spinning bow tie!? Throw in a water squirting flower and you've got yourself a double act!
