I'm gonna get a PS3 for free anyway, so I'm not trippin'.

I bought a Gamecube for RE4, and while it was a GREAT game, the system overall was a waste of money. I wont buy a system again soley for one game, even if it is a Resident Evil game. If it goes to the PS3, o well, guess ill have to buy Dead Rising.

With the PS3, I just wanna get a couple of games, I don't wanna be buying games that cost me $70.

I feel the same way. There's only about 2 or 3 games this year that I actually want for the PS3. All the goodies come out next year.

On the lastest 1Up podcast, Shane says that Capcom will announce RE5 as a PS3 exclusive at the TGS.

I think it's very likely. And if it's true, I'm buying a PS3.

I bought the Gamecube for the sole reason because it had RE4! I will do the same if its exclusively for the PS3!

considering that Resident Evil 4 is one of the, if not the best 3rd person action game ever, i highly doubt that.

RE4 is everything a videogame ought to be, in every way. there is not a thing wrong with the game, and RE5 will more than likely be great in every way that RE4 was, with top notch next gen graphics to boot.

fair enough, i'll give you that.

i personally loved the control scheme, but i suppose it's not for everyone. then again, i loved the control scheme in the MGS games, too, and it's more or less the same thing, not being able to move and shoot at the same time. i don't really like too many 3rd person shooters that have first person shooter controls. it usually feels like it doesn't fit to me.

the Wii will more than likely get it's own RE exclusive. in fact i think i read that here somewhere?

RE5 is more than likely going to be really high end in the graphics department, and i'd be more upset if it was cross platform, and they had to dumb it down for the 360 and ps3 because of the wii's shortcomings.

this way everybody wins.

i really don't know how you expect to feel like a badass when you're holding what is essentially a remote control.

think about it... in fact, get your tv remote, and channel surf really fast and violently... it'd feel like you're using a star-trek phaser thingy... i guess that could work for some people, though.
