Haha, i liked the gameplay clip. I thought the squad based shooter aspect in the middle of a zombie infested Raccoon City looks pretty cool. Cant wait to try the *Tak Fuji voice* "Online Pope Mode"

Yes, it does look good... but I HATED the Socom game these guys did...

Cool... it seems there's a lot more physical moves in this one (the head stomping haha)... RE4, for me, is still the apex of the series.

I know I'm alone in thinking this... but RE4 is where the series started a fast decline for me. The game pretty much became an escort game after a while... and I hated it for that.

Yea but that game didnt have 4 bad ass USS squad members fighting through one of the coolest locales in video games filled with some of the most bad ass enemy's in the industry.

That game was amazing. I think it's the only game that really scared me.

Man Neptune was cool but, Lisa Trevor and the Trevor Diaries were easily the creepiest parts of that game. I mean those diaries just highlighted how sick Umbrella was.

Agreed... the Gamecube re-release is the bees knees. I can't play it when it's dark outside.

Pretty much. Raccoon City is a side game where you can just have fun with RE canon. Revelations is part of the main story and tries to remain faithful to it's survival horror roots.

I think they have stated they are going to respect the canon but there will be some options for you to change things i believe. Im assuming there will be a canon ending and non canon ending, much like Resident Evil 1 had.

I'm gonna' be honest--I love the RE series (yes even RE5 and I enjoyed UC for what it was--never played DSC)....but this looks blah. I loved the frantic action-horror tilt of RE4 and didn't mind the more straight-action further-tilt of RE5....but this looks bad. RE with Rainbow Six/Black-Ops/whatever else online gameplay.

Meh. The only interesting RE game coming out anytime soon is Revelations and that's only on a handheld! I hate saying this, but I'm getting the sense that RE5 was the last RE game for fans of the original three. The series seems to be leaving us behind from now on.

Capcom usually has success in that time of year anyway. They had SF4 in 2009, SSF4 in 2010 & MvC3 this year.
