Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

It's bound to come to the PS3 eventually. It's the usual early exclusive nonsense.

Is there a single player campaign or is this online only? Are there any bots?

only on 360, seriously capcom **** you, i'm not really surprised in anyway they always find ways to screw people over
guess this is making up for keeping 5 characters exclusive to the Sony versions of SFxTK

It has a single player, but i hear your AI squad mates are horrid.

3 of those characters are Sony exclusive so theres ZERO chance of them making it onto an Xbox re-release

But no one outside of Sony fans care about those characters any way, with only one of those characters even being worth a damn.

I dont think any of it matters tho, I'm positive the Nemesis mode will hit all platforms at some point.

read that, it shows all including vita and sony exclusives are on the 360 disc
Actually its almost all

He means the Sony characters(Cole and then those two little kitty things) won't go to the 360. I believe they're on the Vita version
Exactly. Those are Sony first party characters. For them to go to the 360 would be like a PS3 game featuring Master Chief and Mario. Never gonna happen

Good news everyone!

Free Spec-Ops DLC mission coming to Operation Raccoon City

One of the coolest aspects of Operation Raccoon City's multiplayer is its three-sided battlefield. Umbrella Security Service members, who are there to cover up the zombie outbreak, clash with Spec-Ops soldiers sent to get answers and figure out exactly what went down. While those two factions bicker and trade shots, zombies and BOWs wreak havoc all around, targeting anything with a pulse.

Thanks to the campaign story, we get to spend some time with the USS and, even though they're technically the bad guys, relate to them on some level. But what about those Spec-Ops folks? Well, they're going to be playable in a free DLC mission coming April 10 to Xbox 360 and PS3, one that just so happens to revisit an important moment from Resident Evil 3...

This free mission features not just the Spec-Ops squad (most prominently seen in the incredible Triple Impact trailer), but also recreates the scene where Jill Valentine must escape the rampaging Nemesis. So we get a shot at new characters, plus a chance to see an old favorite caught in the middle.

Ah, glad to hear the news about the free DLC. I have high hopes for this game.

More interesting is the fact that the mission takes place while Jill Valentine is attempting to escape from Nemesis in Resident Evil 3. You may recall that Operation Raccoon City is a “What If” game set during the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, so it should be interesting to see if we get more DLC missions that touch upon other famous moments for those games in the future.

Anyone else planning on getting this for PS3? My brother and I will be playing together and we'd like to find another two partners to play the story mode with. Getting matched with random people who don't know how to cooperate every time we boot up a game sucks. We'd like to find some people to play through the whole game with.

Forgot that this comes out on HD Silent Hill 2 and 3 day. Silent Hill will get money.. First anyway.

Some people already have the game. If you want to get spoiled, go nuts.

Do those spoilers say anything about the what if scenarios? Like killing Leon or Claire? Is that mandatory or could you play this game as cannon?

Haven't really bothered to check it myself. Too busy with Mass Effect 3.

Hah, yea i feel ya. I fully anticipated being done with ME3 by the time this game came out and i was, however i didn't anticipate me wanting to go through the WHOLE series again. Im in the middle of ME2 right now. Ill prob play ORC for a bit whenever Amazon delivers it tomorrow, but most of my attention is still on the ME series.
