Horror Resident Evil Reboot

I know Albert being Ada's underling is nonsense, but isn't anyone going to comment on honest and naive rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy that survived events that killed professionals failed at training and is a heavy drinker?

What's next? He'll stop fighting zombies and head to a bar to drink until he's wasted, and maybe hide from Nemesis or something?

Just make Lisa Trevor into Sherry.

If there's any truth to the Leon rumors, my guess is they don't like honest, naive young rookie cop Leon. And they want to make him gritty drunk young rookie Leon.

But if Leon shot someone during training, wouldn't he have washed out already? Why would he even still be in the force?

All I can say is, why the hell can't they ever just make a faithful adaptation? :funny: Is it really so hard to build a movie franchise around a video game series that already has a very enthusiastic fanbase built into it? And they wonder why video game adaptations always seem to be a major fail on some level.

Anyways, let's hope it's not true.

Lets just wait till the film releases and we’ve all seen it before we all judge it based on rumour and gossip.

Well we don't even know if all these rumors are true, but the cast does include characters from the first 2 games, which again, trying to combine the first 2 games, which are massive into a single storyline is a lot.

Especially considering you'd basically have to turn the first THREE games into a movie since 2&3 happen closer in relation to each other than 1&2.

But that still doesn't mean that all or some of the rumours and gossip are true, e.g. Wesker working for Ada

I'm still hoping for the best, but I don't understand why they just couldn't adapt the games properly instead of cramming so much into one movie.

The only reason I can think of for them doing it is because of them not being all that confident enough in a sequel, so they are trying to put in as much as possible with this movie, but that can very easily lead to disaster and this movie feeling like a complete mess.

It already sounds like its going to be kind of all over the place, but I'm willing to keep an open mind and once again low expectations.

It's still really early, but I'm hoping for the best. This really came out of nowhere so I'm excited.

I was wondering, could RE1 be a prologue, or flashback type situation but RE2 is the bulk of the story, or is it 100% confirmed the stories are intertwined/combined.

It's obvious they may be setting something up for Wesker to go rogue or something.

Lol from the helicopter to the truck. I just find it funny how they are doing this now. But I get it.
