They say that is the high light for the PS3's graphical power and play the game in first person mode. Cool maybe we'll vs. in Resistance sooner than I thought.

I'm probably going to get one in January as well if after I purchase a PC for myself with holiday discounts I still have a sizable sum of money left in my bank account.

So maybe I will hound you on the online, mwahaha!

The game is very very twitchy. I'm used to Halo (sue me), or even KillZone Ps2. I'm assuming the problem is that it comes straight off the Ratchet and Clank factory and didn't make the "realistic-sized" jump. It feels "tiny" even though it's much bigger, if that makes sense. Headshots are pure luck, even though in other FPS I get them with ease. And a headshot does not kill a guy either.

Sometimes you got to empty out more than half a clip in a guy before he falls. And the lack of vibration just sucks, since there's no way to tell RIGHT AWAY when someone's taking shots at you.

Guns also seem not to have a whole lot of recoil. It's very simple to stay on target the whole time. It just turns into a "strife and shoot" affair that doesn't have the flair Halo has, or the weight and "realistic" feel of KillZone.

I have to agree with the guy who said Gears of War ruined that game. It's true. Even if Resistance looked first gen 360 (which in my opinion, it does NOT), it doesn't stand a chance against a game that came out for a supposedly less powerful machine.

Seriously, once you play it, look at the textures and notice how jagged and dirty they are. It's just not $600 worthy.

Just read up on some PS3 launch guides on IGN, they have a "Who's it for" section for each game, Resistance's said: PRetty much everyone who buys a PS3 at launch... unless they don't like great games. up:

I think its because they are to bent on Gears of Wars graphics and say that Resistance's suck. But hey i'm not complaining though, Gears looks sweet.

However what I am kind of mad about is how the hell can Gamespot give Resistance such a low score when Perfect Dark which wasn't all that it was hyped up to be get a 9? I just find that strange.

But who cares, it got an 8.6 so i'm happy.

Hype has nothing to do with how good a game is. If anything, the hyped games are more likely to get a lower score because they're more likely to disappoint.

I told you MOTORSTORM was the highlight out of the titles I played.

Seriously good arcade racer and the only game that would tempt me to drop the 600 big ones at launch (Thats March 07 here so Motorstorm will be a launnh title). I wont be dropping 600 big ones at launch but you get the idea.

The western release had better have online play though

I'm not very sure about the Ps3 right now, but if they work out their BC kinks and I have some extra money, who knows? Maybe instead of getting a new ps2, I'll just get a Ps3 with Resistance, Dark Kingdom and Motorstorm.
