^Hell yeah, see i'm perfectly fine with that statement right there, its just I hate when people say Resistance looks last generation screw that it look amazing. I still think these are some of the best graphics i've seen from a game but thats just me.

Liz, I'm gonna ****ing kill you! I wasted three hours of download time on a bloody promo that had about 10-seconds of gameplay?!

Oh and the game looks good - nice smoke and all, but the character models are nowhere as good as Gears' nor is the lighting. The overly sepia tone isn't easy on the eyes either. Good smoke though. But seriously, you think this looks better than Gears?

so what if the cell and ps3 can really do all that stuff that video was talking about? i mean, i'm pretty sure it's more marketing bs, but still... what if it is adaptive, learning, living, etc, all that stuff the video was talking about?

i don't know much about what the cell even is, but what if it is as advanced as sony is wanting us to believe? maybe then the system would be worth $600? maybe that's why they think it is worth that much, and not just the bluray player?

Don't tell me you actually bought all that marketing B.S. The PS3 is going can do nothing significantly more impressive than either the 360 or high-end PCs. It's all just more and more empty hype.

Hey Mentok just watch this little clip I think you'll like it, at least I did, I thought it looked sweet how hes yelling at you and then turns and goes into battle.

Insomniac said that this friday is the big Resistance media blow out for those interested and thats when we will see a closer to final build of the game...Not sure what this build was but I know i'm excited about this friday.

^See thats what I was thinking to, and I mean in countless demonstrations with Resistance the Chimera are always doing new things like flanking, seperating you from your soldiers and then killing them really fast because they don't have you watching their backs.

No, but people who are developing for a PS3 right now, people who have gotten their hands on the actual hardware have commented that it is barely a bit more powerful than the 360 (that too, only in some respects, which the 360 negates the differences by being more effecient in other areas). You're going to be disappointed if you think the PS3 is all that impressive. Heck, the most technically impressive game out there on any platform in on the freakin' PC. What does that tell you?

Hey Fenrir i'm sorry that you wasted 3 hours to download only 12 seconds of gameplay I should have told you guys but I was just excited and wanted to get your reactions on the game.

Personally I think Resistance looks amazing, I love the character models, I love the Chimera models, I love the enviornments and all of it its just so freakin cool to see the game looking this damn good and for a launch title its impressive.

I might be taking it to far to say that Resistance looks as good as Gears of War but man I just like Resistance a lot so maybe my judgement is a little off but whatever. I just can't wait to play this game, its going to be really immersive and fun I can already tell.

I think the physics are really well done in the game and i'm really excited about all of the destruction you can do. If you play the video in slow motion you can catch a lot of cool things like the car blowing up, the tires deflated and each door swung on its hinges and then tore off.

Theres a lot of detail to Resistance and thats what I like about it, its improved a lot since E3 you guys have to give them that, A LOT. THWIP, Manny were all saying dude what you saw at E3 is what you are going to get, dude the graphics now are no where near that!

I really can't wait for this game and personally i'm totally fine with the way Resistance looks. For graphics as of right now I'd give them a 9. Gears probable a 9.6-9.8.

Who knows though, lets just wait until this Friday to see what Resistance looks like, Insomniac won't confirm if this is the final build or not so i'm excited. They say this Friday is the media blow out all of us Resistance fans have been waiting for.

Yeah I know F.E.A.R. is by far the best game with A.I. but how Resistance does it its just new and refreshing I guess in some way or another. I don't know I'm going to wait and see more of the game this friday to really make that conclusion.

Nah I am holding my judgement until I see it first hand. I just do not understand all of the people who say it will suck. That is a pretty strong statement when they only know what they read.

I for one hope that every system (of the big ones out there) are good as it helps to push them (the maker) into making them even better. Competition is good.

I just viewed the gif finally and it looked great, the whole 3 seconds of it. lol. If the game looks that good I might have to purchase it for sure.

I will be holding off on a NEXT GEN system until the PS3 and Nintendo have been out for a bit, then I will decide on which one I want after playing each of them

Yeah dude Dodger a.k.a Mike Stout who is working on the multiplayer for Resistance: Fall of Man. People were asking him about the character animations and how they worked and stuff.

He said that in a build he played of the game and I know you guys won't care about this but dude I think its cool. He said when he was fighting a Chimera hybrid in the hallway he was shooting it and blood was squirting everywhere and the Chimera and backwards while shooting Mike.

It ran past a corner and got two feet back and then started shifting its body weight to its legs as it was leaning to the left as it was advancing right making sure its lower half was shiled by the corner of the wall.

He just thought it was really cool that the A.I. did that when they weren't expecting it to happen, he just said how it looked was really cool and hopefully it made it into the finale game.

I can't wait for this friday.

no, i don't really buy it... did you even bother reading what i said?

i was simply saying "what if?" i know sony doesn't have the best track record, but considering they, above all others, know what there system is capable of, i was just throwing out a hypothetical "wouldn't that be something?"

What he meant was they didn't program the A.I. to do that, it just did it on its own. The creature was running backwards really fast and shooting at Mr. Stout, it then started shifting its weight so that it could run but lean left while running right so it was able to shield its body behind cover and keep shooting until it dissappeared around the corner. Basically it made a tactical move all by itself and executed it with an awesome animation.

At least thats what I believe he is saying, i'll post his comment in a little bit.
