I'm kind of thinking that too, but hopefully the groundwork will be laid so that if they make a sequel, it will fix the problems of this one and truly be a great game.

Dude you guys haven't even played the freakin game yet and you're already giving it a damn score. Trust me when you see other people play games they look stupid and less appealing but when you play them you are blown away.

Seriously this game is getting a least an 8 but i'm prediciting low nines maybe high. This game is going to be amazing, it has so much potential and its not wasted. The more this game is shown I believe people try and make up stupid comments just to ***** about it. At first everyone thought it looked horrible but now that everyone can see it has improved now you guys are trying to find something to bash it on.

You haven't played the game yet either, but you just gave it scores as well. How is it any better to constantly praise a game that hasn't come out than to bash (or in my case and others, show concern over it) it? Both are equally uninformed to an extent. Taht's why in my post I said I'm thinking that it will be that way, not that it would definately be that way.

To me, in my own personal opinion, I think that almost everything about this game looks average, with a few possible bright spots. To me, that is a 7-7.5/10. It is these potential bright spots that while not getting me too excited for this game, make me hopeful that if there is a sequel, it could be a great game.

I'm just saying I think you guys need to look past all the oh this game looks average/generic when really you guys haven't played the game. I haven't either and i'm just excited to so how about this, all of the Resistance Bashing that you guys do stops until we all play the final game because maybe statements you are making are not legit and maybe statements I make are not legit.

But the only thing i'm having trouble understanding is why would you say this game HAD potential and then follow it up with its going to be this? What do you mean it had potential?

And dude personally I think these bright spots you are talking about Resistance has a ton of, I mean come on what other game has it where the enemy grabs you around the neck and you have to fight him off? That is awesome, what other game has such cool weapons that some sort of haven't really been done before? What game has an awesome storyline like Resistance? All of these can be answered with just a couple, Resistance will definatley set sail away from all of the other games and make it its own personality, IMO this is the game that is going to answer Sony's prayers, believe me or not I just have a Fox Mulder feeling.

I get what you're saying, and all I was saying is that there is absolutely no difference between you praising this game without playing it, and some people saying "it won't be that good" without playing it. Telling them to stop judging the game negatively just because they haven't played it yet is pretty hypocritical seeing as how you haven't played it yet either.

All I'm saying is don't use "you haven't even played it yet" when all you really mean is "i completely disagree with you"

As for your last part about everyone stopping making judgements on the game until it come out, while a good idea, you and I both know that will never happen. Besides, this is what the internet is for: prematurely judging movies, games, and other stuff with what little information we have on said topic. Well, that and porn. t:

so resistance requires over 22 gigs with 1 gig for sounds and music and it uses in engine cutscenes, so no movie footage taking up space. so much for the blue ray wont be needed bull****.

Yeah Resistance will never be ported over to 360 because supposedly HD-DVD only hold up to 15 Gigs I believe. I wonder how long Resistance is.

turns out it's one of the first of the stupid things they say to be proved wrong.

there's also rumors that in oblivion textures were cut out of the game or shrunk to fit on DVD for the 360s sake.

also rumors that the projected size of resistance is over 30gigs. it's only at 22 gigs at the moment because it isn't finished. it couldn't even fit on a dual layer HD-DVD.

they might have just presumed they were aliens when writing up the story.
it wouldn't matter too much if they were aliens or not. or an alien parasite infecting humans or not. you've got to think about what could have been said at the presentation to make them write what they wrote.
