I've always preferred science to religion. Some people have said that science can be considered another form of religion due to many people telling you things that you most likely have no way to prove and even things that you use in your day to day life have to be taken on faith that it will work. I think I prefer it because I know that we are the cause of the expansion of knowledge and that we are uncovering secrets of he universe as opposed to just following what is already known. We are forging a new path and due to new information uncovered we are learning and growing more than we were before.

There are plenty of non-Christian historical sources documenting the existence of Jesus. Any self-respecting historian (even if they are not a Christian) would not deny the existence of Jesus. That would just be a complete academic faux pas and would get them laughed out of their university/ professorship. There is more historical evidence for Jesus than for Julius Caesar. And anyone who were to dismiss Julius Caesar as just a play by Shakespeare and not a historical figure would look utterly ridiculous.

No Christian here has disrespected anyone.Speaking for myself,I've said several times in the various threads that Jesus loves all,no one should make gays the object of a witch hunt,that I don't really care about people's personal lives,that people that are extremely hateful (I.E "God hates ****" signs) are doing a disservice to Christ and should stop it.

So that's why I find it a little disingenuous that some here are acting like I want to see another Inquisition started.The only hate involved here seems to be coming from the anti-Christian mockers,hence the reason for the OP creating this thread.

Have you not read my posts? I've said I'm fine with other beliefs and I have no problem if people want to worship or speak about their beliefs I'm okay with that. The only part I'm not okay with, is when people are stating that they will go to hell or be killed due to the beliefs or lifestyle they have.
