Hey, I wouldn't mind if you're right. I'd love to see them go from Raimi's children movies for 4 year olds, to a movie with a villain who likes to thrill kill for no other reason than to see your innards on the floor, while jump roping with your large intestines. A villain that even without his powers has a body count that's more than Doc Ock, Venom, Electro, Scorpion, Mysterio, Green Goblin and The Lizard's combined.

Yeah, let's see them try it. Unless they plan on turning him into another wimpy ass villain who loves poetry and proclaims that he's not bad.

Chameleon isn't lame, I'd read his recent appearances in the comics for proof that you can make him creepy and really cool. I don't really think Sony would go for him as a villain at all if they didn't want Vulture, either.

Very true! While I don't think Chameleon is lame, I believe that there are way better deserving villains for this new franchise!

Creepy doesn't automatically mean cool. I think Chameleon is cool, but less cool than someone like Mysterio who can do the samething. Only with more stuff.

I say go with Electro because he's one of the few villains that can't just be punched or kicked. Parker will have to use his knowledge of science most of the time when fighting him.

I don't remember it that way. Then again that was nearly 10 years ago. I remember reading that Molina was offered the role of Ock but that was purely speculation by fan sites from an insider, nothing official was announced by Sony until a few weeks later that Molina would indeed be playing Ock.

I totally agree, but I wouldn't go as far as to say he sucks. Just less cool than the better Spidey staple villains.
