It's the classic Robin Hood image. They were bound to use it somewhere. I'm sure there will be a few other posters that feature more original images.
Agreed.I think it's because I'm more in the mood for a more swashbuckling Robin Hood. I wouldn't mind it if they remade it in the same mold as the first POTC.
Ridley Scott wants 3D 'Robin Hood'
Ridley Scott wants his next film to be converted into the 3D format, according to The Wrap.
The British director is allegedly trying to persuade executives at Universal to invest an extra $7 to $8 million to create a 3D version of his $200 million Robin Hood movie.
The potential move to 3D has reportedly been prompted by the success of James Cameron's Avatar, which has grossed more than $600 million at the worldwide box office since its release on December 17.
Robin Hood, starring Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett, is due in cinemas on May 14.
the movie is already filmed. so if it was filmed like a 2D in mind i dont think they composed shots for gimmick 3D.I'd like to see arrows flying at me
this is weird. and im not sure why. maybe it just looks like they're taking robin hood TOO seriously? i guess i always saw robin hood with more rebellious wit and cocky swagger, which i didnt take from these trailers.

I would like to see a Scarlet Pimpernel movie...I guess next we'll get a remake of the Scarlet Pimpernel where he decapitates everyone in the kingdom, then licks the blood off the sword.
Maybe a King Arthur movie??So I expect in about 10 more years Russel Crowe and Ridley Scott will make another movie about mythology?
2000 - Gladiator
2010 - Robin Hood
2020 - ?
Although I can't wait for this film.
