hat would happen if one of the nation's funniest men became its leading one? Oscar® winner Robin Williams reunites with the director of "Good Morning, Vietnam" to answer just that question in the comic tale of an entertainer's accidental rise to power, "Man of the Year."

Acerbic performer Tom Dobbs (Robin Williams) has made his career out of skewering politicians and speaking the mind of the exasperated nation on his talk show. He cracked scathing jokes at a fractured system night after night...until he came up with a really funny idea: why not run for president himself?

After a flip comment, Dobbs ignites a grassroots movement that puts him on the ballot. Hot on the campaign trail, he debates elected drones and says exactly what frustrated voters have often thought. Nov. 2nd later, the muckraker wins--only to learn that a computer voting error gave him the victory. With time ticking on the inaugural clock, Dobbs has a big decision to make: should he go back behind the mike or stay in the Oval Office?

This election season, comic actors including Laura Linney, Christopher Walken, Jeff Goldblum and Lewis Black join Williams in a pulled-from-the-headlines comedy. Together with Oscar® winner Barry Levinson ("Rain Man," "Wag the Dog"), they'll show the world that--only in America--a comedian can become the country's next president and our "Man of the Year."

I saw the trailer for this a while ago. It looks good.

This looks hilarious. I hope they didn't just put all the funny stuff in the trailer.

Indeed.

I believe I saw this trailer with Talledega Nights. Pretty funny. But hey, it's Robin Williams....I love him!

I'll be catching this one.

I liked it the first time when it was called Head Of State and Chris Rock was in it...

The fact that you are a Chris Rock fan disqualifies you from critiquing this movie.

Are you joking or just stupid? I'll assume the later considering your name comes from a Sega Genesis game. Chris Rock is one of the funniest men on the planet, he is the funniest black comedian since Richard Pryor.

I wish that I could acknowledge your existense, but I don't care. I also wasn't referring to you. If you want to kiss The Joker's a**. Don't go through me to do it.

Im not a fan of Robin Williams in comedies, but this one actually had me laughing (a little).

It's basically answering the hypothetical question what if Jon Stewart were elected president. People have mentioned it before, and this answers it. Should be pretty cool.

I dont even like Chris Rock that much outside of his stand up work, I was merely commenting on the fact that we've already seen this movie. Same concept, funny guy unexpectedly becomes president and hillarity ensues where in he learns a valuable lesson and turns out to be a good president. I've seen it once, it wasnt that great then, I dont really need to see it again. And seeing as they're having Robin Williams play Jon Stewart in this damn thing anyway, why didnt they just get Jon Stewart, seeing as he's actually relevant now, as opposed to William's who lost most of his relevance years ago?

I'd rather have Bill Mahar run rather than Jon Stewert. Mahar seems like he follows current events more closely than Stewart.

What about that movie with Kevin Kline in it. Was it called "Dave"?

this movie looks like it sucks about as much as something like this could suck. And I'm actually one of the people who likes Robin Williams.

This film looks like the most genius idea I've seen since Forrest Gump.
