I believe that they ruined Rouge by taking the cure, but will it last? She may get her powers back like Magneto.. tell me what you think.
I hope not...Logan did tell her not to do it for some boy. They only person she wants to touch and love on is Bobby.Avalanche said:I don't think she took the cure in the first place.

she was holing hands with Bobby in the end.Avalanche said:I don't think she took the cure in the first place.
Too bad it completely undermines everything positive the character was working towards in the previous two movies.blind_fury said:Rogue, like Angel, served the movie best by being a symbol for mutant self-hatred. This is far more important than Rogue being in an extended fight scene.

Oh, well when they are with Leech they loose there powers but when they arent they have there powers, so maybe after a while the cure stops working as they get older.nightbringer said:I think that if there is an X4 we'll find out that the cure wasn't permanent. They'll probably find that the cure only had a temporary effect.
I think the cure is limited...like Leech's powers.StormRocksSocks said:Oh, well when they are with Leech they loose there powers but when they arent they have there powers, so maybe after a while it stops working.
Yes, but her character was working towards acceptance of her curse. It was the reason she returned to the X-Men in part 1. It was a development in her relationship with Bobby in part 2. And then she suddenly loses her conviction when an easy opportunity presents itself. It's like the X-Men taught her nothing at all which, again, completely contradicts the previous movies.blind_fury said:How so? If anyone would take the cure it's Rogue. Her mutant powers were always a curse, especially in X1 and X2.
Exactly my thoughts.skruloos said:Yes, but her character was working towards acceptance of her curse. It was the reason she returned to the X-Men in part 1. No, her hair was not a mutation, it was an alteration from the machine.DarknessOfDeath said:Um...Question... If Rogue took the cure, wouldn't her white strands in her hair be gone? ...
