This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]477371[/split]
And if it is at $100mil as some sites are suggesting? Also did you just up your estimate to $140mil?The multiplier for IM3 is related to how frontloaded that film was more than the lack of legs it had, in my opinion. So if TASM2 is less front loaded than IM3 and certainly it will, it can have a better multiplier but still gross less than that film, bot dom and os.
A 2.34 multiplier from $140m OW means $327m for TASM2. A bigger multiplier could make the film get to $350m. But this is all guesses until we actually see the numbers and projections next weekend.
It has been my experience that the first real wave of North American reviews come on Monday and Tuesday of the film's release. Nothing is set in stone though, but considering there doesn't seem to be an embargo, I'd expect it. Also, many reviews don't get posted until the day before, which would be Thursday.yeah I think that is a good assessment has with 30-40 more reviews we will be at 95-105 reviews by then you are talking about like 40-50% of the reviews being out. How many told reviews do you think we will be at by Tuesday? I don't really now how fast reviews come out before a movie and such has I don't normal follow has I don't listen at all to reviews when it comes to if I am going to see a movie or not. But this is spider man so I want it to do while and bad reviews do make me nervors.
And if it is at $100mil as some sites are suggesting? Also did you just up your estimate to $140mil?
Oh no SPIDEY, that is where you are wrong. There is one person.Yes where did you get that 140mil number from? Nobody thinks it's going to do that well, not one person.
That would be a great start.115 million OW book it!
He's saying his prediction is 150mil now. Where is the Hunger Games style buzz for this film to reach that number?Oh no SPIDEY, that is where you are wrong. There is one person.![]()
I'm not looking that **** up. I'm not the one posting a handful of reviews like they're a microcasm of every TASM2 review and ignoring everything elseYou are welcome to point them to me and the others of the board, there is even a thread for that here.
It did not have great legs or a great multiplier, it was average in every sense of the word. And this is nothing like IM3, so stop bringing it up, This isn't a matter of opinion, there is literally nothing to back up your claim that this is similar to IM3 other than your own blind belief and want for this film to be like IM3. It isn't and it won't.And of course that there will be a handful of reviews that will hate on film, it happens with every single of these mainstream superhero films, I'm comfortable with my Iron Man3 comparison here though, that film showed to have some great legs and a great multiplier for a superhero film, something I suspect that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will have too.
NOPE I DIDN'T CALL SOMEONE BIAS BECAUSE THEY DISAGREED WITH ME, NOPE I DID NOT CALL SOMEONE CUTE FOR CALLING ME OUT, NOPE I DID NOT CALL SOMEONE SON, NOPE I DID NOT SAY SOMEONE'S OPINION WOULD BE PROVEN STUPID. NU UH STOP PICKING ON ME I'M BEING COMPLETELY RESPECTFUL IT'S JUST THAT MY OPINION IS RIGHT.The "attitude" that I have is discuss everything with respect. I disagree with your opinions, I don't attack you as a person. Big difference here.
Well, I'm reporting you again. Not only you're attacking me, but you are encouraging others to do so, it seems to me that you are resorting on personal attacks because you can't come up with better arguments, than your last straw is the ad hominem attacks.
Son, look up the definition of snarky. Not really trying to be snarky. I was just calling you the same that you called me, haven't you called me "breh"?
Yeah that one guys supporting you sure does make me see how valuable you are. I'm sorry.Great reading of what my posts are. Thank God that I've known from other members here that they appreciate my posts and my presence here.
I'm sure it would have been more of the same broken and ill conceived logic.I prepared a long post to answer your first point, but only after that I've read what you said here. My father died less than seven months ago, and I have no words to say to you anymore. I'm putting you on the ignore list and taking this to the mods. Hopefully you will get the ban that you have worked so hard to deserve.
Be careful, he's going to report you to the mods for that.Avenging Spidey eerily reminds me of this loony that was on here two years ago. But he was banned so it can't be the same person can it?
Every CBM blockbuster is front loaded. The multiplier for IM3 is related to how frontloaded that film was more than the lack of legs it had, in my opinion. Not everyone. TDK and the Avengers weren't.Be careful, he's going to report you to the mods for that.

The reason they dumped Mary Jane is because Katniss will be Peter's love interest by the end of this film. He's saying his prediction is 150mil now. Where is the Hunger Games style buzz for this film to reach that number?
We are on topic.*sees people bickering on an internet forum* Smh. C'mon guys. Let's get on topic here. Yeesh.
When a movie makes most of its gross in the first 2-3 weeks. Or how the opening weekend is its biggest weekend. What does front loaded mean?
What does front loaded mean?
yeah but i think those are the only exceptions other than Spider-Man and maybe the first Iron Man? I mean, it's a foregone conclusion TASM2 will be front loaded. Not everyone. TDK and the Avengers weren't.
