No, it was never rumored to be the fith. Someone misread the dates. It will be very late October or early November if the newly classified trailer is a new one.

Wouldn't mind Shocker showing up as an early-in-movie fight. A plus one cameo, if you will.

Me too! Mysterio needs to be in this series. The possibilities are endless with him.

I would like to see Mysterio and Chameleon together, Chameleon Uses mysterio's SFX to make himself appear that he is spider-Man like In spectacular Spider-Man! Man I love that show!

I've always wanted to see Mysterio in a film series, I think he should definitely be a villain in this series.

Other's seem to think he's lame, because one punch and he's down, but there's so much they could do with the SFX and whatnot that it would be so cool to see what they'd do, especially with the darker tone of these films.

I've been wanting Mysterio in a movie for ages. He's such a badass. They could easily adapt him on screen. He's a cinematic character. Even his outfit. I saw a cool manip earlier this year of a movie version Mysterio and it looked cool as hell.

I for one would love to see Mysterio. I would also like to see Venom again but done properly. even though I love seeing new villains onscreen I can't deny seeing Venom done properly would be badass. Heck, I could even go without Goblin, (he's a tough character to adapt on film), Lizard, Mysterio, and Venom would be great.

Fans will also get a glimpse of the trailer on the big-screen when it will be attached to copies of "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring" on December 19th, as well as "Ali," which will be released on December 25th."



I'm comparing timelines.. The first teaser was first shown with Final Fantasy and that came out in July, and the current one was shown with Captain America, which also was in July.
So maybe we wont see a new trailer until December.

I recall nearly chewing my leg off for having to watch that damned show to see the Spidey trailer

I remember the Spider-Man 3 trailer being shown in November on NBC. So I'm guessing end of November, beginning of December we'll see a new trailer.


edit: I'm pretty sure there was one in November. I know they showed an 8 minute clip of the movie in March, right?

The First theatrical trailer for the original "Spider-Man". I remember ****ting my pants the first time I saw this. I truly watched it over and over and over again! I think it's the best assembled trailer ever. I dig it even more than the theatrical trailer to "SM2", although I thought that was awesome as well... I don't know, there's just something about THIS trailer that sticks with me! It's the way it builds it self up, getting more and more intense. It's perfectly edited. And just at the 1:41 mark, right after he says "Who am I? I'm Spiderman!", the whole thing just goes crazy, explodes, and your mouth drops even more! and that freaken ultra badass music!!! Some of the coolest and most intensifying trailer music, EVER! I'm still getting the chills when I see it today. Nothing (imo) has topped it YET - trailer wice-, that is.

I love that trailer!!! I start to get chills when uncle ben goes "with great power comes great responsibility". all I'm saying is nothing beats that trialer.

I love these movies if only for the "With great power comes great responsibility" line. If they use that in the new movie, I'm going to be so pissed.
