Sure he would have.

His final three seasons of Two Guys, they made him more dorkier as time went by. Plus he was far funnier than Nicholas Brandon ever was.

Tobey Maguire comes across as a bit effeminate in the movies, and in real life he appears to be very dull.

People also say Reynolds is too good looking for the role, but some glasses and stuffy clothes would fix that. They do it to female actresses all the time.
