With a dramatic film like this , I was curious what scene affected you personally and made you choke up or even cry.

The most emotional moment for me in the series is Jean's Sacrifice in X2.

Wolverine killing Phoenix in X-Men: The Last Stand is probably 2nd for me.

A bunch of moments in X-Men: First Class follow behind: Charles reading Erik's memory; Hank trying to convince Raven to take the cure; Magneto paralyzing Xavier

Jean at the end of X2, they really squeezed the drama in that one, just a great moment.

When the words "Directed by Brett Ratner" appeared on the screen.

Jean's sacrifice.

It was hard not to get choked up during that scene.

Next for me was Xavier and Magneto sharing a memory of Eric's mother.

Also Magneto's introduction scene in X-1 in the concentration camp was very powerful.

Saddest moment.............

Wolverine: Origins

:hehe: :oldrazz:

The concentration camp scenes always make me sad. When Erik's mom is killed in front of him like that it sent a shiver down my spine. Also seeing the dissection room during that scene made me think about what Shaw possibly did to other (potential) mutants or mutant relatives.

Jean's sacrifice! Brought tears into my eyes and it don't happen very often...

Easily when Xavier got Erik to move the satellite dish. That was a great moment that seperated the film from the rest of them. I agree that the scene where Jean sacrifices herself was also powerful, but the scene in First Class really got to me.

Jean's sacrifice, Magneto paralyzing Xavier, Mystique deserting Xavier but theres more but these three are great emotional scenes to me.

The reveal of Deadpool.

The Merc, now WITHOUT a mouth!

F**k that was stupid. It reminded me of that stupid Batman comic where the Joker's mouth was on the back of his head.

Jean killing Xavier was played more for spectacle instead of emotion. Always bugged me.

Xavier and Magneto on the beach in First Class "No, my friend. We don't..."

;.;

Jean's sacrifice = beyond epic proportions! and Cyclops was great in that scene!

Personally, I found Jean killing Xavier a very powerful and sad scene. Also, the end (after Jean's X2 sacrifice), where they are talking to the president. Very powerful (maybe not 'sad' though).

Charles's paralysis at Erik's hands. The Jean sacrifice could have won, IMO if it had made a lick of sense(which it didn't). There was no need to sacrifice herself there and that's why I rank it lower.

Ahh yes common sense. I agree completely

Marsden's silly overacting also ruined that scene. I still remember people in the theatre laughing because of it.

I agree. Maybe it's just me but it looked like Patrick Stewart was trying hard not to laugh.

That was an uncomfortably funny scene.
